@@zrohit I don't think you can. However, if you use carplay or Android auto, they both start up automatically and generally go to the map screen right away
I have a 2013 Hyundai Azera. Once I've reached my destination, which button or what do I type to get it to take me back home the using the same route used to get to my destination? Thank you~
Thx for the comment and question.. Unfortunately I don't know those older systems very well. My guess is, you just need to add your home address info the favorites so you can quickly choose it each time. But it's always just going to pick the quickest way. There's no way for it to record how you got to where you are, and return to home via the same route. That much I do know.
When I use the car voice command for navigation, the directions come on my phone, not the car screen. Is there a setting I need to turn on or off for it to only display on car screen?
iPhone? Don't "hold" the voice recognition button on the steering wheel... or it'll access Siri. Press and release the button quickly, and it should use the car's system.
My NAVi has not been working for a while, keeps saying network not available. Any advise? (2022 Palisade) I can type the addess or business but voice command does not work. Reset the system once, still not working.
When you deviate from the route, it will automatically recalculate. But if you want to add a stop, simply ask it to navigate to a location.... and it'll ask you if you want to add it as a waypoint.
Once I have put an address in, is there an option for voice navigation to give me turn-by-turn instructions? The video does not make that clear. Thank you.
@@m0ea737 the navigation comes from factory pre programmed for the country it will be sold in. It can't be changed out without replacement of the stereo system. I would suggest you use Apple carplay or Android auto for navigation.
How do increase the Navigation audio voice? The Navigation verbal commands are just too low in my 2023 Hyundai Palisade, and I don't know how to change it, so far.

Is there anywhere I can have a direction display showing constantly? As of now, I have to swipe my screen from right to left to display my direction heading and then it only stays on for a few seconds.
You can put individual turn by turn directions on the instrument cluster screen. You need to use the two buttons on the right hand side of the steering wheel to cycle through your menu system until you find it. Normally you would just see a compass, however when you're navigating with the built-in system instead of a compass you'll get the turn-by-turn directions.
At one point you touched the screen and a red circle went on the screen for a moment. It comes on mine and doesn't go away. What is it used for and how do I get rid of it when it shows up?
That's just the point of the map that you touched. To return to your location, just press the button on the top left of the screen, next to the home button (looks like a triangle).... The button I'm referring to, will show up if you're not currently centered on your location.
The traffic and construction info comes through blue link and hd radio. Some Hyundai models will also receive map updates via Blue Link. However those that do not can be updated via a flash drive and Hyundai's software upgrade website.

It actually depends on the model. But Hyundai is including navigation on a lot of their trim levels lately. Especially on the Santa Fe, Tucson, Palisade and electric models.
The dealership is going to have to diagnose and repair it. That's a very uncommon issue but clearly it's defective. Probably an issue with the cellular module.

That's a good question... Unfortunately I'm not sure how to answer that, as in North America, we just add the state or province and it figures it out on its own.
Setup -> Navigation -> Guidance -> Route Options -> And here is the tricky part, there’s a icon next to the lookup (magnifier) one, it’s like an arrow around a do not symbol. Click on it and you will see the avoid ferries, toll roads and HOV

The navigation system is different in Europe. I would suggest you check with a local dealership for assistance. Because unfortunately I don't know how to answer your question.
One of two ways.... Either turn up the volume while it's talking (you gotta catch it at the right moment) Or, find the speaker icon on the map screen, from there you can change the volume of the voice directions.
Well, this navigation system is designed to work anywhere in North America... So Canada, Mexico and the United States. If you live in a different country and purchase a Hyundai in that country, then the navigation system will include the map required for that country.... And likely other countries that boarder it.
The navigation system on the Canadian models work anywhere in North America..... But if you bought a European model, then it would have navigation for Europe. But if you were to drive your Canadian Hyundai into the ocean, you'd never find your way out as the navigation system stops at the coast. 😆
What a freakin joke! Tried to renew my 2019 Sonota navigation system. Paid my $300 renewal fee, downloaded the update and still no navigation. Opened a ticket with BlueLink, 3 months still no resolution. Took the car to a Hyundai dealership, they had the car for 4 days and was not ablle to renew the navigation. I can't believe Hyundai would partner with such a bullsh_ t. system. Beyond frustrating......... maddening!! Will buy a Toyota next time.

I don't get much opportunity to play with blue link, as it's never enabled yet when I review these vehicles.
One of the *most horrible things* is that while driving, my passenger cannot enter destination. Anybody know how to turn off the restrictions? Speaking often has mistakes.
This is by design, not something you can disable. If it were something you could disable, then some drivers would inevitably start doing it and causing accidents. There's actually some markets that have laws requiring this type of lockout. Just practice with the voice recognition, it works well. Or utilize apple carplay/Android auto for your navigation needs

If I were an auto manufacturer, the first time someone sued me for the accident they caused while typing in an address, I would lock that shit out. Bad neglectful drivers are to blame.. not the manufacturer
I just bought a used 2021 Hyundai Kona and I can’t connect my gps navigation to the car. Do I need blue link. When I first started the car there was a map and now it’s gone.

It is in colour.. but you can also put it in night mode for a darker image.
Or just use Google maps through Android auto/carplay

Yes, assuming it's receiving data from either HD radio or blue link.

Yes, it'll give you vocal instructions by default.

You can say go to work, and you can say go to "name of favorite".

There is a toll avoidance but no freeway avoidance. Where is the option to avoid freeways?

Well, this navigation system is designed to work anywhere in North America... So Canada, Mexico and the United States.
