11:25 It’s funny how in 2012 I thought Man City’s squad looked amazing yet because they’ve been so brilliant under Pep it now looks average by comparison.
I’m here to see him destroy Newcastle’s hype. If he dares to do that to his own club. If not then he’s just going after every other club for a video lmao
If you want to see newly promouted underdog challenching for Europe look no further than Heidenheim the "German Luton Town" who are just 5 points behind Hoffenheim and the possible conference League spot or 3. Liga side Saarbrücken who are in the semi finals of the DBF-Pokal against Kaiserslautern who are in the 2. Bundesliga relegation battle
The hype behind that 08 Arsenal team, was the style of play, Arsene popularized the triangle style football before Pep during this time. And we also had a young exciting squad. If we weren't a selling club at that point, and built a little bit more aggressively during this point, we would have won the league by 2011 (latest). So I don't think that young, exciting team playing exciting football was overated. We just couldn't keep our players and we kept on replacing them potential (with the exception of say, one established player per season). But to be fair, one could argue that at least have of those players with potential did become solid to flight players (players like Nasri, Chamberlain in his prime, Walcot in his prime, Koscienly, Giroud who could have struggled like Chamakh, etc) but then we also had players that flopped horribly, like Jekinson. The 08 season was the mark of a new error, but we couldn't sustain it. Every time we made a step forward from the 08 season (like V. Persie hitting his prime), we would have set backs (like players leaving or getting horrible injuries). But what's crazy is we were still a top 4 team despite having the finances to compete with other clubs. Wegner deserves all the respect for that 💯
I'm not saying that Wolves have done anything insanely special and that Gary O'Neil is a top manager, but given that many tipped them for relegation at the start of this season, the fact they're currently sitting in the top half of the table just 2 points off a Europa League spot is still pretty good.
@@johngalbreath9394 doesn’t make them a tiny club does it? Majority of Newcastle’s silverware is from before World War 2 even started, but they are still considered a big club in England.
16:35 Well IMO, why everyone fancies the Big Ange atm is becuz Spurs ended the last season at 8th, which was hilarious 😂 And also, Arsenal in 2017 or 16, didn't have that kind of an issue, they were just over-expecting...
I will say that Klopp's Liverpool is not one of the best teams in PL history. Pep's 100 point season and treble team, most of the United teams under Ferguson, Wengers Invincible team, the first Mourinho Chelsea team in my opinion is above them.
I am a Man United fan that has seen the Premier League since 2006 and let me tell you, the Liverpool 19/20 team is the scariest team I ever seen.
