That shit made me feel really old since I was attending my first Liverpool game in 1984 lol the original Great Dane Jan Molby is the reason I support them
In 2004 i thought my club (Leeds) would be dead in the next 5 years or struggling in League 1 or even lower. Its been a rough 20 years but its definitely better than i expected
They were in a horrific situation, but i bet that many thought they would be back in a decade at most. They nearly got promoted in 2006, than the negative premonitions came saddeningly true, but than they recovered, and than the stasis. But it was great when they got back!
This feels like a video the Irish Guy was meant to do in 2024 but couldn't wait. I can't wait till next week when he does his 2024/25 PL season review.
As a Liverpool fan I have to say I am very happy. We definitely should and could have won more but considering we nearly went into administration and were a mid table team before Jürgen Klopp arrived, I am grateful for the trophies we have won and finally winning the PL has lifted a huge burden off the fans and Club’s shoulders. And thanks to the infrastructure put in place by our owners we can compete for trophies almost every season now. So yeah I’m pretty happy.
So you predicted Arsenal to win 10 league titles, Chelsea to win 8 league titles, Liverpool to win 1 league title, Man United to win about 5 titles, Newcastle to win (maybe tbf) 1 title - so a total of 24 or 25 titles in the span of 19 years? You really weren't the brightest kid
Unpopular opinion, but if United had given Moyes the money, patience, and naive optimism they gave Ole or Erik they'd have won at least one title under him. Moses is a good manager and develops players well, Fergie knew this, he just wasn't immediately *peak* Sir Alex so United fans threw a temper tantrum.
I'm not sure the optimism Ole or Erik got could be considered Naive. ETH has the best first 50 PL games of any United manager ever and Oles interim spell United were almost unstoppable. The optimism was justified, its the outcome that disappointed
I remember people saying moyes transfer targets were stupid in 2014 but if he got some of the players he wanted (Kroos, Baines, Schweinsteiger when he was good etc) then yeah he probably could’ve built something good. But instead they gave him Fellaini.
Moyes has had 466 million at West Ham, ages to get everything in place, and when we got turned over by villa was full of gushing praise about how far ahead of us they were and we're still building, probably cos he didn't get to waste a fortune on Maguire and Mactominay?! He brought in felaini himself, the man has 1 plan, substitutes so often exactly the same time each second half you can set your watch by him, no, man Utd wouldn't have won anything, any expansive player would be miserably getting the skill and joy coached out of them to be the leakiest bus parking team ever....
I thought the video was going to show things like a picture of a little Irish Guy making the predictions, or some notes he wrote back then or something
In 2004 I was watching Post Abramovich Chelsea start wrecking house in the Prem, it was also the year in which my team Southampton started to decline :/ (until they came back with a bang 9 years later).
If you’d ask me in november 2004 what would happen in the prem I would have shrugged as I hd just been told I had a few months left to live. It’s been 228 months and counting.
In 2004 I don't think Brucie was poised to take over for SAF. The big assumption at the time was Martin O'Neill. So... despite his high stock at the time, overall definite phew there.
@JamesSt.Patrick-wj1xl I know, I was 9 lol. I thought whoever scored more goals was better. And in about February, Glenn Murray had scored 30 goals and Messi and Ronaldo had scored around 28.
The Irish guy’s most hated people list Titus Bramble Paul McShane Jack Grealish Erik Ten Hag Dutch League Mike Ashley Alan Pardew Steve Bruce Alex Bruce Paul Heckingbottom Declan Rice Susan Boyle X Factor Contestants

I knew the Irish guy loved predictions but I never realised he’s been doing them for 20 years. 😅 That is some dedication.
with same precision as today 😁
That shit made me feel really old since I was attending my first Liverpool game in 1984 lol the original Great Dane Jan Molby is the reason I support them
he most likely just made these up
He hasn’t, he’s waffling. He’s running out of video ideas lol
It is a joke.
He is not that old.
His channel was made in 2021😑
The moment his dad heard those predictions he was out the backdoor with the milk
and now he has to pour that same milk over his head every week because of Everton’s 10 point deduction 😅😂😂

Back in 2014 I thought Charlie Austin and Saido Berahino had more chance of playing for England than Harry Kane
I genuinely thought the same about Charlie Austin as well. 😅
Tbf Charlie Austin was a monster for a poor QPR team.
Just last Saturday I saw Charlie Austin play against Harrogate for Swindon.
Jesus Christ he’s bad
I was thinking more like Jordan Rhodes from Football Manager
Will Hughes too
We all believed crazy and wacky things in our youth, you're not alone bro.
You should do a video on reacting to where teams in the prem like 5-25 years ago are now
2004 premier league why not
Video idea: Predicting when every Premier League team next wins the league
Man City: 3024
Man United: 4024
Tottenham: 2024
Chelsea: 2026
Arsenal: 2028
Luton Town: 2053
Uniteds fall off since then is crazy man
😢😪
The Glazers and Ed Woodward are to blame for that one.
As a Liverpool fan I have to say I am very happy. Yeah, just need City to face the 115 charges then we will be swimming in titles
We’ve come so far from having to watch Alberto Moreno and Fabio Borini play
The Irish Guy and predictions can never go well
The best thing about Monday nights are.. THE IRISH GUY!!!!
Irish guy should something like this more often
Do?
As someone born in the early 90s, it’s crazy seeing comments from people born after the invention of TH-cam.
I started watching football a year later in 2005 at age 9, supporting Man Utd because of Rooney and Ronaldo

Well those are rough estimates he’s not saying exactly 8 7 etc
In 2004 I was celebrating Greece winning the euros mental scenes 😅 ❤

I was graduating High School and starting college in 2004. I may be old for this channel.

I was a 1 year old making my mum’s life a living hell

looking forward to the vid on ireland losing to nz. will be an intresting one
In the interest of feedback, Sam, why do you think the video will be interesting? Will it be insightful or demonstrate knowledge?
In 2014 i thought that Everton and Southampton would kick spurs and man united out of the big six
Christ the friends intro has aged badly 😂
I started watching football around 2004 aswell 😂
Irish guy making stuff up for 17 minutes
this video should be titled "where were premier league clubs in 2004", makes no sense to pretend those are "predictions"
Loved the bit about Bournemouth!
Haven't even seen the video but this one looks like a classic already
Irish guy : what were you doing back in 2004 ?
I was 4 yrs old back in 2004 so I dunno trying to count to 10 ...
In 2004 i was exactly 4 years away from being born☠️
In 2004 I don't think Brucie was poised to take over for SAF. The big assumption at the time was Martin O'Neill. So... despite his high stock at the time, overall definite phew there.
0:03 I hadn’t been born yet
I was a three year old so he definetely knows his audience in terms of age
ngl I was waiting for the irish guy to talk Aabout Liecesters suprising champion year until I realized...
9:38 two league cups actually. But no it's not a good enough haul.
Hi owen
😭💀my dumbass was waiting for a segment on Leicester 😭😭 I had completely forgotten
In 2004 I was wondering about in a costume of Sully from Monsters Inc. I barely even knew what football was.
I was chilling in my dad in 2004.
The friend's reference
The Man City one is kinda true after these charges are sorted
I can see a little Irish Guy annoying his teachers by announcing his predictions in class
I thought he was gonna play a clip from 2004 😂
2004 is the best year for Arsenal's fan. Been downhill from there :'(
2004 was my first FIFA. Little did I know, I was 20 years on from my last. 😢
Back in 2013 I thought Glenn Murray was better than Messi and Ronaldo because he’d scored more goals

I barely remember stuff that happened last week. And Irish Guy is making a video of him remembering predictions he made 20 years ago?
Was 2 years old in 2004😂

City's is a massive exaggeration. We were shit yeah but league 2? Mate the furthest down we've ever been is division 2 (league 1).
back in 2012 i thought craig bellamy was a better player than suarez
He said newcastle would win the premier league. They havent won it since 1927 when the queen did not even exist
