Hot take: Elanga has performed much better than any of United's wingers this season, despite playing at Forest now - he's been comfortably better than Antony, Sancho had his dispute with ten Hag, Rashford has been very inconsistent, Garnacho is still raw and lacks game intelligence. Put Elanga in that United team over Antony or Sancho and watch him outscore and out-assist both, combined.
Wolves have been so much better this season with Gary O'Neil as their coach over Lopategui. They had to sell some players or FFP would come for them. Pedro Neto is awesome to watch and Sarabia is starting to find his form again.

Caicedo is a great example of a player's career being ruined by a transfer fee. Caicedo to Liverpool for £45 million is a good signing, Caicedo to Chelsea for £115 million is a flop.
Damm, Caicedo for 45 million to Chelsea would still be a good transfer. But 115 Million is too much for any player not in the Top 20 in the World.
He has a chance for arsenal at 70m. At the end, Brighton won with that 115m.

Brighton signed Caicedo so young that he actually has homegrown status for the league/European competitions, which is basically often what drives up the prices of English players, because this type of player is required, so the big premier league teams are willing to pay extra. It's what made Grealish and Rice cost more than they normally would have. They played the market well and they got the reward. Can't blame them.

At this point, Caicedo is basically at the same level as Jorginho, and not the overhyped version of Jorginho that everyone believed he was, the actual version of Jorginho that was too weak and slow for the Premier League and constantly lost possession and failed to defend in the midfield.
