Nicole Brett, Jesus cannot be only a prophet. His declarations include claims that He would die and rise again, that no one can come to the Father except through Him, that He and the Father are one, if you have seen Him you have seen the Father, that He was going to go to the Father and then come back for His own people, etc. If those assertions are false, He is no prophet. If those assertions are true, He is no *mere* prophet.

Technically everyone has Jesus. People often fail to see that they have what they need. Humanity will struggle with the longing of not having enough forever. My whole life is starting to make since, I was raised Christian, but I abandoned my beliefs thinking it was fake not real, or I can be better off without it, but I was wrong. Yes I did get some success but it all went downhill, I lost control and I lost hope. As soon as I saw that no matter what there a battle between good and evil, is what made me realize my religion and beliefs are real. God is not my enemy, God just wants the best like a father and a son.

No, that's wrong too, it over balances putting the emphasis on the spirit instead of the body. Animals are all body, and Elohim are all spirit, but we humans are chimeras, both body and spirit. Gnostic heresies and religions tell us to eschew the body and focus on the mind or spirit to escape the corruption of the flesh, hedonism and naturalistic materialism tell us that the life of the mind and spiritual things are fleeting illusion and the physical world is all that matters, but the Bible consistently calls us to see both body and spirit as intrinsically good parts of how Yahweh designed us.

Great to hear! Peace be with you! Salvation comes through Christ only. One God, three distinct and divine Persons. He is the true God - the Son of God. 100% God, 100% Man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified, died, and was buried but on the 3rd day He rose again. And 40 days later ascended into heaven. The risen Lord was seen by over 500 witnesses at one time. To this day,... critics have tried in vain to explain away the empty tomb. They cannot! Many attempt to explain the tri-unity of God throughout the ages. We all fail to fully comprehend it (our minds are finite, God is infinite). This is powerful confirmation it is the truth. This is so beautiful! I was teary eyed all throughout the video. What Jesus did for us is so beautiful! How He loves us so much I cannot comprehend but can only be in awe, be in praise and thanksgiving for all He has done for us. Thank you for this video. It really showed how amazing God is. In the New Earth there will be no more suffering, but eternal union with God. Revelation 22:3,14 *"And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him...14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city."*
Cwum Yes. The 10 commandments. These commandments can be fulfilled when we love God and love our neighbours as ourselves. Also the most important thing is to accept Jesus sacrifice so that you don’t have to pay the consequences of your sin. When you accept Jesus the Holy Spirit will lead you on how to become a better human who can love God and others.
This video has given me hope. It is not the end. Your suffering for ministry, souls and the Kingdom of God is VERY VALID and at times, the enemy can convince you that what you are doing is worthless. If you are in that position, my prayer is that God may restore this GREAT HOPE in you. You are free and you are pleasing Him! DO NOT GIVE UP! People are being ministered to by your "unseen" work and God is moving, no matter how chaotic this world is and gets. Thank you for being God's chosen instrument, The Bible Project! For more information on this video, download our video notes here: bit.ly/31oEPwq We don’t normally think of humans as “spiritual” beings, because in most languages, the word for “spiritual” means “non-physical.” However, in the opening pages of Genesis, humans are presented as creatures of the earth and of the heavens. God makes humanity from the dirt, but then he exhales his divine breath to bring the creature to life (Genesis 2:7). God also appoints humanity to rule over all creation as his image (Genesis 1:26-28) and even invites them to share in his eternal life by eating from the tree of life (Genesis 2:16). Imagine a human who has “ingested” God’s own eternal life into their being. We’re talking humanity 2.0 here! But of course, that’s not what happens. Humanity joins in a cosmic rebellion and forfeits their access to eternal life (see Genesis 3), and they become corrupt and violent (Genesis 4, 6, 11). So then, the biblical story doesn’t begin with humanity falling from perfection. Rather, it begins with a lost opportunity, or as the apostle Paul puts it, humanity falls short of the glorious status God purposed for them (Romans 1:23 and 3:23). From this angle, the rest of the biblical story is about God’s raising up a *new human* who will be God’s forever faithful partner in ruling the world. And (surprise!), this plot line is fulfilled in Jesus. This is why the Gospel of Mark portrays Jesus as a “new Adam” at peace with the animals (Mark 1:13). It’s why John has Pontius Pilate announce Jesus saying, “Behold the human!” as he walks out with a bloody robe and crown of thorns (John 19:1-5). Paul the apostle calls Jesus the true “image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4) and “the last Adam” (1 Corinthians 15:45), because his death and resurrection established him as “the new humanity” who rules with God over heaven and earth (see Ephesians 1:19-21). In other words, the risen Jesus is a “physical-spiritual being.” He has a real body that can be touched and talked to, but it has also been transformed and exists in a different mode than our bodies. The "new human Jesus" lives in heaven and earth at the same time (see Matthew 28:18-20). And for those who trust in him, he invites us to share in his new humanity through the Spirit that he is breathing upon his people still today (Romans 8:9-11).
You teach in one of your videos that hell isnt eternal damnation in flames that devour and that Jesus Christ came to join heaven and earth and there will be a place on this earth where God respects the choices of those who chose to live without him.Completely false doctrine. Yes, we Christian do believe in living on earth...just not your Watchtower Bible and Tract Soceity earth. Your Jehovah's Witness earth is not biblical. We don't get a second chance to prove ourselves to God while cleaning up the earth after Armageddon. Isaiah and Peter declare that we will be given a "new heaven and new earth" because the "old will pass away", the firmament will melt with fire. The saved go to be with Jesus in heaven at the 1st resurrection while God pours His wrath upon man on earth during the Great Tribularion that will last 7 years. At Armageddon, Jesus returns ("every eye will see Him"), throws the antichrist and false prophet into the lake of fire, binds Satan in bottomless pit for 1,000 years, reigns on earth for 1,000 years to fulfill promises God made to Israel, releases Satan, defeats him once and for all by throwing him into the lake of fire, the rest of the dead are resurrected and judged, new heavens and new earth for the saved, New Jerusalem comes down from heaven. This is all in the books of Daniel, Revelation, 1 Thessalonians, Isaiah, etc.

Honestly, when I get to Heaven I’m first going to cry tears of absolute joy in Jesus arms for a week straight. Then I’m going to just lay in a meadow and enjoy the peace of not having to worry about anything. After that - creative mode is at 100% I’m swimming with the dolphins. I know it sounds naive but God knows my heart. I just want to be a kid forever and Heaven allows that because guess what? We accept our Father.
I’ve been listening to Bible Project for a couple of years, quite intensely that past 14 months. (Saved my sanity during the lockdown.) The concept in this video is still not a comfortable way of thinking for me. BUT it certainly calls to my heart. I’m so grateful for the way Jesus showed us how to become new humans. I love the part of the video that shows Jesus’ transformed body that can live both in heaven and on earth. And that we can know eternal life now. Looking forward to getting my new body! And learning to live in that Venn intersection until then!! Our Papa is soooo good to us kids!!

This is amazing. Stuff, I have fallen in and out of my walk. I think mainly because teach the Word is hard. We all have our own walk. God speaks to each of us in our own unique way. The Word of God is so complex and beautiful. God has found new and inviting ways to make sure His Word is understood by everyone. It I so beautiful to know God really does want the world to hear the good news. Extra! Extra! Read All about HIM ! ✨🙏🏽✨🗞️ I wanna shout it from the rooftops! I am so glad God sent Jesus, he was the the paperboy with the best headlines. He is the top story and His Word will be passed on because He always finds away to provide a way back to His truth and love. I am so glad I can understand so much now. I am in my late 30's and finally getting the picture. Praying my children will grow up loving God better than me because I was so blind and had no one to teach me Gods love. I am so thankful God is finding away for me to teach myself and my children His Word. @@rickv9180 that might be the final test, maybe even the Mark of the Beast. Will you choose God if you would be able to live forever without Him by your own rules or without rules at all? That is a very difficult question - do we believe in God only because we fear death and if something will guarantee us everlasting life we will ultimately abandon Him? Or even harder - would you love and glorify God even if He would not grant you eternal life?
@@nadacolic7775 if that question is to me I mean that first of all we owe God our love (by “owe” I mean we are obliged to it because we are His creation). Take Job’s Story - everything was taken from him (all God’s gifts) and he was left with nothing but sorrow and pain; he wished to die but never he renounced God not cursed Him. He didn’t have hope for being restored, to be happy ever again, yet in all of his misery he remained respectful to God as his Creator and prime being. That’s what I meant- are we ready, like Job, to keep the faith and respect even without the promise of the eternal bliss in the New Life. Even the Apostles asked “how we will be rewarded for following you (Jesus)”.

As a former person who label himself as "homosexual" before. This message made me come to realize that by Jesus, we become new human and be part of the new humanity. I realize that I have to act now as a new human and stop labeling as my past sinful life anymore. I pray for my process as I am still going to be a new human or new creation.

My whole life is starting to make since, I was raised Christian, but I abandoned my beliefs thinking it was fake not real, or I can be better off without it, but I was wrong. Yes I did get some success but it all went downhill, I lost control and I lost hope. As soon as I saw that no matter what there a battle between good and evil, is what made me realize my religion and beliefs are real. God is not my enemy, God just wants the best like a father and a son.

No, that's wrong too, it over balances putting the emphasis on the spirit instead of the body. Animals are all body, and Elohim are all spirit, but we humans are chimeras, both body and spirit. Gnostic heresies and religions tell us to eschew the body and focus on the mind or spirit to escape the corruption of the flesh, hedonism and naturalistic materialism tell us that the life of the mind and spiritual things are fleeting illusion and the physical world is all that matters, but the Bible consistently calls us to see both body and spirit as intrinsically good parts of how Yahweh designed us.

@PreachingPolitics it’s the doctrine of penal substitutionary atonement. Romans 3:25 is one of many verses- it’s helpful to research the word propitiation used there.

Cwum Yes. The 10 commandments. These commandments can be fulfilled when we love God and love our neighbours as ourselves. Also the most important thing is to accept Jesus sacrifice so that you don’t have to pay the consequences of your sin. When you accept Jesus the Holy Spirit will lead you on how to become a better human who can love God and others.
It really gives me hope that in the end we will join Jesus in Heaven.

We don’t normally think of humans as “spiritual” beings, because in most languages, the word for “spiritual” means “non-physical.” However, in the opening pages of Genesis, humans are presented as creatures of the earth and of the heavens. God makes humanity from the dirt, but then he exhales his divine breath to bring the creature to life (Genesis 2:7). God also appoints humanity to rule over all creation as his image (Genesis 1:26-28) and even invites them to share in his eternal life by eating from the tree of life (Genesis 2:16). Imagine a human who has “ingested” God’s own eternal life into their being. We’re talking humanity 2.0 here! But of course, that’s not what happens. Humanity joins in a cosmic rebellion and forfeits their access to eternal life (see Genesis 3), and they become corrupt and violent (Genesis 4, 6, 11). So then, the biblical story doesn’t begin with humanity falling from perfection. Rather, it begins with a lost opportunity, or as the apostle Paul puts it, humanity falls short of the glorious status God purposed for them (Romans 1:23 and 3:23). From this angle, the rest of the biblical story is about God’s raising up a *new human* who will be God’s forever faithful partner in ruling the world. And (surprise!), this plot line is fulfilled in Jesus. This is why the Gospel of Mark portrays Jesus as a “new Adam” at peace with the animals (Mark 1:13). It’s why John has Pontius Pilate announce Jesus saying, “Behold the human!” as he walks out with a bloody robe and crown of thorns (John 19:1-5). Paul the apostle calls Jesus the true “image of God” (2 Corinthians 4:4) and “the last Adam” (1 Corinthians 15:45), because his death and resurrection established him as “the new humanity” who rules with God over heaven and earth (see Ephesians 1:19-21). In other words, the risen Jesus is a “physical-spiritual being.” He has a real body that can be touched and talked to, but it has also been transformed and exists in a different mode than our bodies. The "new human Jesus" lives in heaven and earth at the same time (see Matthew 28:18-20). And for those who trust in him, he invites us to share in his new humanity through the Spirit that he is breathing upon his people still today (Romans 8:9-11).

Yes, we Christian do believe in living on earth...just not your Watchtower Bible and Tract Soceity earth. Your Jehovah's Witness earth is not biblical. We don't get a second chance to prove ourselves to God while cleaning up the earth after Armageddon. Isaiah and Peter declare that we will be given a "new heaven and new earth" because the "old will pass away", the firmament will melt with fire.
The saved go to be with Jesus in heaven at the 1st resurrection while God pours His wrath upon man on earth during the Great Tribularion that will last 7 years. At Armageddon, Jesus returns ("every eye will see Him"), throws the antichrist and false prophet into the lake of fire, binds Satan in bottomless pit for 1,000 years, reigns on earth for 1,000 years to fulfill promises God made to Israel, releases Satan, defeats him once and for all by throwing him into the lake of fire, the rest of the dead are resurrected and judged, new heavens and new earth for the saved, New Jerusalem comes down from heaven. This is all in the books of Daniel, Revelation, 1 Thessalonians, Isaiah, etc.

Honestly, when I get to Heaven I’m first going to cry tears of absolute joy in Jesus arms for a week straight. Then I’m going to just lay in a meadow and enjoy the peace of not having to worry about anything. After that - creative mode is at 100% I’m swimming with the dolphins. I know it sounds naive but God knows my heart. I just want to be a kid forever and Heaven allows that because guess what? We accept our Father.
I’ve been listening to Bible Project for a couple of years, quite intensely that past 14 months. (Saved my sanity during the lockdown.) The concept in this video is still not a comfortable way of thinking for me. BUT it certainly calls to my heart. I’m so grateful for the way Jesus showed us how to become new humans. I love the part of the video that shows Jesus’ transformed body that can live both in heaven and on earth. And that we can know eternal life now. Looking forward to getting my new body! And learning to live in that Venn intersection until then!! Our Papa is soooo good to us kids!!

That is a very difficult question - do we believe in God only because we fear death and if something will guarantee us everlasting life we will ultimately abandon Him? Or even harder - would you love and glorify God even if He would not grant you eternal life?

@@nadacolic7775 if that question is to me I mean that first of all we owe God our love (by “owe” I mean we are obliged to it because we are His creation). Take Job’s Story - everything was taken from him (all God’s gifts) and he was left with nothing but sorrow and pain; he wished to die but never he renounced God not cursed Him. He didn’t have hope for being restored, to be happy ever again, yet in all of his misery he remained respectful to God as his Creator and prime being. That’s what I meant- are we ready, like Job, to keep the faith and respect even without the promise of the eternal bliss in the New Life. Even the Apostles asked “how we will be rewarded for following you (Jesus)”.
Jesus is coming!!! Father his sheep. Spread his love and the gospel!!! It isn’t hard.

As a former person who label himself as "homosexual" before. This message made me come to realize that by Jesus, we become new human and be part of the new humanity. I realize that I have to act now as a new human and stop labeling as my past sinful life anymore.
