The part that’s prideful, then the part of me that recognizes I’m being prideful and hates the pride. I say God I cast it on to you but it’s like it comes back. The anger , the shame , the hurt. I don’t know how to truly cast it on the Lord and let it go. I want to forgive so badly but it’s like I’ll say “I forgive ___” and then it all just comes back. This video has come at a time in my journey where after diving into scripture, attending church mass and discussing my faith with brothers and sisters in Christ where I feel rather confused. As a practicing Catholic, this hit me as well. Specifically the insults and serving false idols. I don't have crazy road rage, but I admit that I give in to calling people jerks on the road who may not be intending harm or may be ignorant to their surroundings. It's definitly an area of my life that I need to grow from.
And I also struggle with addiction. been struggling for many years in fact. But with God's help I realized I have a problem and have been in therapy and a support group for a few of those years and counting. I can only say, if it weren't for God I'd be in a much worse point. But thanks to him I've slowly grown in confidence and work everyday to rectify my pain with Gods love. He is "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." (John 14:6)

I’m not a biblical scholar and I’m not even an old Christian, this is just my interpretation of the words I have seen. I tell you for two reasons. If I am correct it will bring you peace, if I am wrong that knowledge will further my own journey.
The Bible doesn’t use the words sin and evil interchangeably. The terms are very closely related, but they are not the same. The reason is because sin is fault, failure, straying from the path placed before us. We are human, by our nature we are imperfect and therefore that is why sin is in our nature. Because failure is within our nature. However just because it is a part of our nature, does not mean we are tied to it. It does not mean we are bested, it does not mean we are beholden to it and it does not mean we love it.
God doesn’t expect us to never sin, he expects us to never surrender to our lesser impulses. He expects us to stand within his spearwall and to fight against the darkness that exists within us all. In this sense it doesn’t matter if you are a master warrior, trained for decades or a new initiate barely able to properly direct his blade. The fact that you have chosen to stand amongst the battle line in defiance of the dark and the fact that you’re as committed as possible to become the best spearman you can be in his name is enough.
God didn’t expell Adam and Eve from the garden out of spite or out of anger. He expelled them so in time humanity could learn of the wages of darkness, the reality of evil and to understand in totality the righteousness of the lord on high. So it was with them, so it was with you.
We’re in a fight whose outcome is determined. God as well as all those who believe in him and his law will win this long war. After which we shall live in creation as it was always meant to be. So stand up and rejoin the line son, the lord is not done with you yet.

It’s vital for us Christians to remember that in addition to showing grace and mercy toward others we cannot dismiss ourselves in the process. When we know we sin against God and have walked away, searching for Him and allowing ourselves to receive that same grace is equally important to our soul. To wallow in self-pity or disgrace will only allow the Enemy another foothold in our lives. Grace must be exercised daily toward everyone, including ourselves.

    This is a confession.
Last month (September) I got off with the wrong foot, I was trying to get into a serious routine of workouts, studies and religious thoughts. But unfurtunately I sinned, I`d lost to the pornography, but I just kept going to the gym and praying every night and then I started doing great every day. I was dealing better than never with my flesh needs. However, on August 3rd I`ve lost again, but now I am feeling worst, I am drowning again and I am getting sick of all really fast, It is like I`ve never changed at all. I am shamed, I am sad, It is sufocating me. I am feeling like I am giving up and going all the way down, down to where I was before September. I was so happy and protected by God. But now I feel like I am not. Even with me doing the same things I did before, but now my body hurts, my spirit is screaming and crying and I am feeling empty. Again.
Maybe, nobody will care about it, but I am asking for help, I need help, please christian brothers, may someone help me?

      Hello there..
Something like this needs a practical method to be free..
It's not just avout prayer alone, it's about what you do after praying..
What are the contents of the things you see? Movies..? Browsing sites? Pictures..?
If this things are filthy or contains a touch of filth like immoral scenes, surely you'll be bound by the things you're trying to escape from..
Clear your phones from things like this, stay away from certain kind of movies that can stir up these things, watch what your eyes feeds on, instead spend more time reading your Bible and getting clean..
What of the places you go? Do you go to places where the people around you talk dirty things or do dirty things?
Do you have dirty kind of conversations with people?
Stop hanging out with those kind of people, stop being in places where you'll be tempted to listen to those kinds of conversation..
Rather, work time more around godly people that their words have been seasoned with salt.
      Above all..
Have a good relationship with God which comes from having to hear God daily from your Bible and people that preached the true gospel..
      Be intentional about getting free..
      Remember
      1 Thessalonians 5:22
Abstain from every form of evil.

I'd never say such insults to their faces, but allowing myself to entertain these thoughts is only permitting spite. Also, say you was born in a strictly authoritarian country, where they teach you since you can speak ,that there is no god and believing in it is corrupt, contradicting it is against the revolution, how can you believe in something you’ve told false?I went to school in UK so I am a Cristian, this is how ideologies and religions work, you pass it down in schools, most Christians are Christians because they are taught the teachings of Christ at a young age,so they believe in it and they shall believe in it till they die.
Same for my mom ,imagine if you are born in Manchuria, the absolute corner of China ,and every you have been told about religion is that it’s stupid, how can you believe after that?

Thank you so so much.... at times I felt like I was some fake or bad Christian... not putting GOD first before any of my other needs or wants... when I was in destress... what did I choose? The things of this world to calm myself... I didn't choose GOD... to place my faith in him, to give him my problems... after I watched this, it actually opened my eyes! Thank you... GOD/YAHUWAH brought me to this video to tell me that I need to stay on guard and not to let myself slip away from God to these worldly things... Thank you so so much, I appreciate it very much! I did some reflecting, asking myself when I felt this or that, did I choose the WORLD to help me or did I choose GOD/YAHUWAH to help me... and I admitted it to GOD in prayer, I apologized to him dearly, and sincerely, I was in tears and I was sobbing and I begged him to forgive me for all I had done, I admitted the awful things I did to GOD in prayer... please... whoever is reading this comment... may GOD bless you... I shall pray for you to get close and actually RIGHT WITH GOD... Pray for me as well so I can get through this... May God Bless you all brothers/sisters... Love you all... goodnight!

Please read this if you consider yourself an Atheist. Atheists believe in the scientific impossibility that nothing created everything because the Big Bang theory suggest that nothing (yes literally NOTHING) exploded and evolved over billions of years to what is it today.
We know scientifically that the universe had a beginning and cannot be eternal since the amount of usable energy in the cosmos is running out due to the Second Law of Thermodynamics. Someday there will be none left, which implies a beginning.
So we know there was a beginning but what caused it? Atheists still find it a mystery what could have caused the explosion to happen because the only logical answer is that there was no Big Bang. Nothing can’t result in anything. Where did the explosion even come from? No one can answer that. Also no explosion has ever resulted in order but always in chaos. If you look around in nature you can see order and intelligent design pointing to a Intelligent Designer. We can’t even make one grain of sand because it is so complex.
Think about it. A building is proof of a builder. A painting is proof of a painter. Creation is proof a creator. Buildings can’t build themselves, paintings can’t paint themselves and creation couldn’t have created itself. We know there is a creator but how do we know who He is? There is many religions but only one empty grave. Christianity isn’t a feel good message or even about moralism. It’s about a person: Jesus Christ. He made claims like no one else and if He spoke the truth, He can’t be ignored because it changes everything.
He claimed to be God the Son incarnate (fully God and fully man). He warned men and women from God’s fearful judgment and proclaimed to be the only way to be made right with God and saved from His wrath that rightly condemns us to hell because of our many sins. He urged people to repent and believe the gospel (good news). Most people hated Him and didn’t like His message because He exposed their evil with His light. The most religious people in that day despised Him and ultimately crucified Him. But don’t forget that Christ willingly died to take the punishment for our sins so we could be saved.
Jesus lived perfectly sinless in our place. He humbled Himself and obeyed God the Father until death. He died on the cross for our sins, taking all our sins on Himself. He stood condemned under the judgement of God in our place because someone had to pay the price for our sins. The only one able to do that was the God-man, Jesus Christ. He was forsaken by the Father and crushed under the full force of His wrath. God’s own Son was innocent but willingly suffered the punishment we deserve so we don’t have to. We can’t even comprehend that but He did it for sinners.
Before His death He cried out “it is finished” which meant He paid the price for sin in full. Then He died, was buried in a tomb and on the third day He rose from the dead. Christ’s physical resurrection was God’s public declaration that He accepted Christ’s sacrifice as payment for our sins. Jesus defeated our biggest problems: sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and is seated on the throne, at the right hand of the Father.
Jesus said “He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” [‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭36‬]
Jesus said “You are from beneath; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world. Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” ‭‭[John‬ ‭8‬:‭23‬-‭24]‬
We know historically that Jesus Christ existed and that He was crucified for claiming to be God. It’s indisputable that His tomb was found empty and that over 500 people witnessed Him alive at the same time. I’s not possible for Christ’s body to have been stolen because many Roman soldiers were guarding His tomb.
Christianity is only true if the resurrection is true. If Jesus actually rose from the dead, He is who He claimed to be. He is either the Son of God or not. There is only three possible choices you have. You either have to believe He lied to the point of death, is a lunatic who really believed that He is God in the flesh (but isn’t) or He really is the Son of God.
No man ever spoke or acted like Jesus. He preached with authority and judging by His teachings, He is a sane person. It’s not possible to just call Him a good teacher because by definition He wouldn’t be if He was a liar or insane to believe that He is God.
If you think He was a liar, consider this. People usually lie to gain something from lying. Jesus had absolutely no reason to lie. He was a financially poor Carpenter who was hated by most people. They didn’t like His message because He exposed their evil with His light. The most religious people in that day despised Him and wanted to kill Him. We know His motivation wasn’t fame or money. He suffered severely and still went to the cross claiming to be the Son of God.
The Apostles were persecuted and died as martyrs for their faith in Christ. Who would willingly die for a story they made up? Jesus fulfilled over 300 Old Testament prophesies in the New Testament that were written hundreds of years before Christ was even born. His birth place, ministry, death and resurrection were all predicted and came to pass.
There is no other book like the Bible, it’s the most historically accurate book that has ever been written. It has 66 books that were written by 40 different men yet you won’t find a single contradiction.
I don’t know you but I really care for you and don’t want you to be damned. Jesus said in John 14:6; “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” If He spoke the truth, you’re in trouble. Please consider pressing the link and watch this video of Paul Washer addressing the only 3 logical possibilities about who Jesus is and then you can come to a conclusion. Humble yourself and consider that you could seriously be wrong.

I can't say this was a gut punch as more of a video of hope and strong paths to follow as best as I can. I'm fairly new to taking my faith seriously (I've only started walking my best Christian walk since July of this year, though I'm 35 and grew up in the church), and I fully admit I'm a walking disaster that's chasing after the Lord. I'm so glad that the Lord truly the most patience, gracious, and loving being to ever grace this earth, and I strive daily to be more like Him. I want so badly to follow in his footsteps, and while I still struggle and I still fall, I get right back up. While yes, our failures are deeply harmful to not only ourselves, but anyone who knows that we're a Christian (as we're sometimes the only window to Christ some people have), but we can't also beat ourselves up over it, less we stumble and fall harder. Sincerely repent and keep on trucking, because this darkened world needs Christ's light and love, far more than it needs our self pity and self condemnation!

I realized recently that Im not strong enough on my own and need to restablish my relationship with God. Im gonna read the bible regularly, and pray daily which I havent done before.
