  • First time ever changing a bike clutch and it worked afterwards!!
My Suzuki Hayabusa GSX 1300 R Motorbike.
Review. Motovlog , vlog , blog.
The Suzuki Hayabusa Motorcycle has phenomenal acceleration from 0-60, 0-100 and all the way to its top speed 186mph. The Hayabusa ,or GSXR 1300 , really is an awesome Hyper sports/ tourer.

Thank you very much! these videos that you do and spend so much time over! Especially this current video, it has helped me beyond belief!! In the first 5 minutes, I lost my fear of working on my bike! The doctor says your voice put me in a hypnotic state! And you talking about mechanical problems, cured me!!!! I also felt much more relaxed when I woke up. Cheers buddy!!!!!

Paul Herzmann , Hi, glad to hear it. I was quite nervous thinking about and starting the clutch replacement, but, so long as you put the plates in the right order, it’s really easy. I certainly won’t worry about the next clutch I replace. Thanks for watching.

It is a fix that can be done at home if you do what you have done all in order.

Did you have to adjust your clutch at all

It’s a while since I made this video but I’m fairly sure I didn’t need to adjust the clutch.

Hello, I have a problem with the clutch, it's a 2008 Hayabusa, when I put it in gear, the motorcycle starts immediately, I changed the slave cylinder and the master cylinder, but there were no changes, then I changed the whole set of lamellae, when I opened it, the old lamellae were stuck on the thrust plates were falling apart, but despite the new set of lamellas the problem remained unsolved, please advise what to do, what to pay attention to, thanks.

Hi, first thing I’d investigate is air in the pipes. If that’s DEFINITELY okay I’d open the clutch casing and operate the clutch and see if the thrust plate is actually pushing off and releasing the clutch plates. If not perhaps, somehow, the rod running from the slave cylinder to the thrust plate is incorrectly installed🤷‍♂️ From memory you have a screw adjustment on the sprocket housing to adjust the free play from the slave cylinder piston to the thrust rod. Don’t over tighten it or the clutch can slip at high torque. Hope you find a solution, good luck. Please let me know your solution. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙏
