if you think about it, pat made this action 52 video around 2009. the angry video game nerd made his version of action 52 around 2010 but avgn has been around since 2006. anyway thats beside the point, there are both great game reviewers with each different distinct personality

My favourite part of this video is when you start playing star evil and you die right at the start of the level. Your shocked, surprised silence is much funnier than someone swearing at it.

That money killing you in that last game in this video is symbolism for what Action 52 did to your wallet in reality if you actually bought this game back in 1991.
Pat, I liked this review of Action 52 very much!! To contextualize the time when the game came up I found it very good for you to do too. The part with your sister is cool. She is very funny.

Pat, have you ever heard of Action 52 OWNS!, a collab from indie developers to take Action 52's game concepts and make decent games out of them? Look it up, my favorites include Sombreros, Non Human, City Of Evil, Illuminator, STREEMERZ (you can play this on Newgrounds), and Fuzz Power. Seriously, it's amazing! Just Google "Action 52 Owns launcher" and you'll have every completed game up to this point.
Pat's got his own style. AVGN has his own style as well. Both are equally funny in their own right. Pat's clean, AVGN goes for the more off-color approach.
In the game ooze, the enimies you are fighting are "shit pickles". Quote by the angry video game nerd.

i have two action 52 carts. one all the games work (sort of lol) the other one parts of the games dont work (like the one from avgn)

Nobody's ripping off anybody, AVGN and Pat are good friends, everyone just stop with this rip off stuff.
Pat's reviews are actually original and doesn't focus on unloading F-bombs so I don't know why everyone claims he's ripping off AVGN.
More than one person can review a game without it being a ripoff after all.
Besides, I never get tired of reactions to StarEvil's bullshit obstacles at the beginning. I didn't expect them to do that TWICE!

Actually in Megalonia,the amount of enemies you kill determines whether the boss appears or not and how weak/strong he is.If you don't kill any enemies,he WILL show up.
The reason why is because the devs were so damn lazy,they applied the SAME damage memory address to both the enemies AND the boss!!!
@PatTheNESpunk Like it matters anyway. You know different people are allowed to talk about the same thing and give their opinions on it, just because someone else did it "first" doesn't mean he shouldn't do it too.

If one of them were lucky enough to play till the end of Ooze though, they would be one hundred thousand dollars richer. Of course, the game is still a horrible and unbearable piece of schlock.

You are right. "No one is ripping off anyone". If Game Informer does a video game review and then EGM does a review on the same game people dont think EGM is ripping off Game Informer.
So many abominations in one cartridge....I can't believe someone thought this was a good idea to produce. The only game to be remembered from this package was that cheetah man game.
yes the nes audio chip is clearly cheap made cuzz it has only 1 4bit wave channel allowing for digital sound to your desire,the rest are all fm based.
still it,s impressive how they had utelized that channel,and the intro is probabely the best part of the hole game haha lol.
Did you know, that because how horrible the programming, that it LITERALLY seems like each copy works differently. I swear that's true.

Well what do you know, Alfredo, AKA "Alfred and the Fettec" actually works! Didn't work for AVGN so he must have got the bad catridge where its unplayable.
MANY of the jokes in this review were taken by the AVGN in his A52 rant.
Only here they seems more natural and non dependant on the f*ck and cursing factor.
you can pick this game up on ebay. people call it rare but if its so rare then howcome you can go and buy pritty much as maney copys as you want on ebay and amazon and outher sorces.
actually EVERY game on action 52 is made but some cardridge or tom have some game working and others not this game is a nice mess of sh!t
haha I like the Blades of Steel references surronding the cellphone calls. That was really odd too how that bear/beaver game glitched out on on ya as well as Megalonia.
