We bought a 2024 Carbon a month ago and love it. Ours came with the black leather and looks and feels very premium. The car is an eye catcher with the Polymetal grey finish and the gloss black wheels.

I just don’t get WHY they would make a beige-like color interior roof. Like, what the hell!!!! And also comparing it to the hatchback model with red interior, why would they make front dash all black instead of red as well to match the seats like the hatchback does?
I don't understand the love for sunroofs, much less a panoramic one. I don't like baking in the sun while driving. Every car that has had a sunroof, I always keep the shade closed. Not slaming you for liking it, to each their own. Hard to get a car without one with any options on it.
@@mogators i live in nevada with 115 degree weather in the summertime...i never use the sunroof in the daytime..but at night the kids do enjoy it! Makes it fun for thise road trips to california!
So really nothing new just touch screen for AA and CarPlay like the rest of the lineups. Mazda should do a white with red interior for the cx50 and cx5.

**Beware****** We have a 2021 CX5 carbon edition non turbo bought it brand new. It only has 45k miles and already has an oil pan gasket leak and front cover seal leak. They will fix it under warranty but really only at 45k and having leaks already 🤯🤯😡😡😡😡😡 I also have a 2020 CX5 touring bought brand new also , it has 70k miles on it. It has had the ghosting infotainment, and a bad ambient temperature sensor. If you get your car serviced at the dealer don't expect them to advise you about leaks. We had to go to a independant shop to find out about this !!!!!
Missing fog lights and its underpowered this vehicle should be at least 200 horsepower, if you have 5 people seating in the car the car the car will have hard time to runs

You can enable the touchscreens on settings even on the older models. Your buying this vehicle transmission, ride quality. Its the 2nd cheapest awd entry level option. Subaru would the 1st.

@@nattywho the rear seat space could be a little bigger. We took it on a trip and the taller person in the back did complain after awhile. If you have 6 footers in the back, or a tall person driving, you might find it lacking.
@@nattywho no clue. Think it’s only 2 or 3 inches difference. I’d recommend taking that 6 ft person with you so they can give you their thoughts while sitting in it.
I’ll never understand why they took the turbo engine away from the Carbon Edition and then created a Carbon Turbo Edition without Polymetal Grey. 🤦🏽♂️
yeah I agree. the carbon turbo only comes in white or the zircon sand and it looks terrible especially with the gloss black around the wheels IMO. Mazda has done some weird stuff with the packaging of the CX-5
I like it, but Stop/Start & Cylinder-Deactivation engine tech isn't something that I want on my vehicle unless I can turn them both off in settings (& they stay off until turned back on). So, I would have to have one without those features.
Jonathan mentioned that this car doesn't have iStop. I believe I read that they also aren't including cylinder deactivation on Cx-5's delivered after November 2023.
Crazy difference between the US and Canada though they’re the same trim. Just got mine few days ago in rhodium white, it has iStop and heated steering wheel, on black leather with red stitching and also have the 7” display in the instrument cluster but it doesn’t have the off-road traction assist and home link.
@Jonathan Sewall. I agree. The CE would pop so much more if they painted the cladding gloss black. Seems the Mazda management likes to make bizarre design decisions.
i picked up my 2024 cx5 carbon edition yesterday. i am so pleased with this beautiful car, love the Bose stereo and 19 inch wheels. i got the black interior with red stitching. no start/stop too, we made sure it doesn't have it! very good deal on the price too, 2k off msrp and 2.9% mazda financing. super excited!!!!
My daughter bought her carbon yesterday. I was surprised that anew car doesn’t come standard with wireless CarPlay. She’ll have to use the cord if she wants to use it. Aside from that, the car is terrific. Drive is not harsh. Stereo sounds good. Red leather reminds me of the XM.

I've got 2023 CE and I'm very happy with it except of 2 issues , it didn't come with power liftgate and 360 camera. Is there any chance that I can get OEM parts for power liftgate ? what about 360 camera ?

We just bought a metallic gray with red seats and it is a beaut. The ride is so smooth and I love the upgrades.

Nah. Looks much better with color matched door handles. Carbon Edition is very nice especially for the price.
Keep the handles normal but all Mazdas that have dark interiors need the black headliner

Has the uncomfortable seats issue been solved in the 2024 models? I test drive the 2023 model and felt so uncomfortable after 10 minutes of driving.

Same six speed since it was first introduced back around 2017. Some say it’s lacking but haven’t heard any real issues.
I’d prefer a vegan leather .. idk if they offer this ?

my '24 CE doesn't have the cylinder deactivation feature due to supply issue.

Wired not see LED lights inside most cars use LED now including Kia and Hyundai
The CX-5 continues some features from 2017 body style. The turbos have LED, and the CX-30 and CX-50 have them.
I love my 2023 Mazda CX 5. I dont see any difference between this 2024 and my 2023. You cant go wrong with this vehicle.
