Ahh, I love this.. I would have loved to watch this one when I was thinking of starting 😊 I watched plenty of your content and others to learn more about selling.
Thanks Sandra, yea we probably should have got around to doing one earlier, just hadn’t had a reason to actually start a new store from scratch until now.
Are you guys using an old eBay listing page? My eBay listing page has been updated awhile back, and I love the new look. Also, I used to use a phone with a white background, but I started seeing sellers using a light grey background. After trying the light grey background, I must say it's much nicer and makes the colours of your item stand out. Also upgraded to a good camera, and I no longer need to edit my photos . Using a memory card has been much quicker than uploading by phone as well.
I'd say because that’s a new account it’s probably not on the newest upgrade (I don’t use the computer listing function a lot). The grey is great especially if you’re not able to get that good balance with white, Jaz has pretty much nailed the white background set up though.
Have some friends that have been doing ebay for years, they used to take twenty to thirty minutes to do a listing, now it can take thirty to forty five minutes the system has gotten very time consuming and sales are few and far apart. Good for some pocket change but nothing to depend on to pay your bills.
It’s definitely changed over the years and does take some time to build up, however over time it can become a income earner. This is our full time income and has been for about 2 years now.
Thanks for the support, not really if you describe the items correctly disclose any flaws and provide measurements you should be pretty safe I think our overall return rate is less than 1%
The photos being in order when you upload is what I like about using the phone to upload. But it only works if they were one of the last xx amount of photos you took. Anyone figured out a way around this?
We actually did a massive video last week that showed a huge amount of items we sell I’ll link it below definitely worth a watch Uncover eBay's Insanely Profitable BOLO's for 2024 th-cam.com/video/UquLmCdRZ2o/w-d-xo.html

Great content! Thank you. Do you guys find that clothing and shoes have a relatively high return rate or not so much? Beginner here.

Yes we generally upload direct from phone so haven’t needed to look at it in terms of the order.
What are your higher selling, and mid range priced items in each category?
Do you sell tech?
