You have just splashed it on and met someone in the street and say "WOW! Ugly Bastard". Or when you are buying it in the shop. " Can I have that bottle, "Ugly Bastard"? Always a big hit at Christmas. We were all going around smelling of aftershave and cigars. Some people actually drank the stuff. Usually, people like "Father Jack" from Father Ted, but then again Father Jack would drink anything. Henry Cooper the boxer, and footballer Kevin Keegan used to advertise it as well. It was hugely popular, everyone would give it and get it for birthdays and Christmas. I quite liked it myself but it could be quite overpowering if you put too much on. I seem to recall that they issued a weaker version as well, in a different coloured bottle. Brut was the first scent I ever bought as a teenager. I couldn't afford perfume on 2.5 GBP weekly pocket money, so I bought Brut deodorant instead. The smell lingered for hours. Girls must have thought I was gay. It would also explain why I had so much space on the bus. Didn't know they still produce it. Just found it online. Very cheap. But I'm not going to buy it just for the sake of feeling 14 again.
