A brilliant example of charity and forgiveness shown by a diocesan staffer, in an Anglican diocese in the Antipodes. The diocese has gone woke, is broke, and crumbling! Such was the forbearance of the staffer, that a claim of being offended by an out of character comment by a cleric, did not come to attention of diocesan clergy discipline officials, until several long years had passed. Our non Christian leader brings his corporate background into his woke teachings. No wonder Christianity is in decline
Watch Mario Murillo talk about the revival happening in America and the major physical healings happening on the Sid Roth program
In South Africa the Easter services are overflowing. Sadly they don't come to mass during the year and we call them Easter or Christmas Catholics mockingly. I suppose they DO come to mass at least twice a year so we should be grateful for small mercies.
United kingdom of Middle Eastern.
Calvin is great … he deserves a medal or possibly one of Suella Braverman’s Golliwogs… hope he lets us play with it too 🤔
Oh Lord deliver us from the evil of Lineker for he is the devil incarnate…Hilarious nonsense from hard right hypocrites.
I won’t go to a Woke Church - they have abandoned their brief and have lost the plot!
Why go to any church?
@@sandersson2813 I don’t but what replaces a Godless society? You don’t have to go to church to be a Christian.
I think the Ten Commandments are very important.
@@fionamurray2295 You think the ten commandments are important do you?
Why would you want to be a Christian?
So you think that a child who dishonours their parents is stoned to death?
Do you seriously think that we didn't have morals before the bible?
The countries considered the best countries to live on are the LEAST religious.
No point in denial.
British people have been screwed.
Britain, as we used to know if is beyond repair.
The upshot was that the cleric was suspended, made to run the gauntlet of a kangaroo court, and finally defrocked.
How can all of you fool yourself into thinking that Jesus Christ looking down from the Heavens accepts all of this compromise. He will say to you all on judgement day “ I knew you not”
When the church thinks it is more important to have sales in the tourist shop than keeping Sunday special thirty years ago. Faith is not important to people, when we act faithful it seems frowned upon. We have become self serving and not even have self belief.
It was not the church that decided to open shops on Sundays. It was the atheists who never thought of Sunday as special anyway.
@@audreyblack8629 I wrote to our diocese and received a letter from the bishop saying…it is important that the tourists and cathedral visitors have access to buying souvenirs. It seems to me that it was the church saying Sunday was just another sales day.
Crazy. I am Christian and Catholic and refuse to follow sacrilegious trends by pagan ideas.
Capitalist system, yes. But what about democracy?
I have heard it called spring break so many times instead of Easter. The Christian church have become so woke that many of us do not want to be a part of it but doesn't mean that we are not Christians or celebrate our special times at home.
When the breeze hits you in the ears, it doesn't mean that God is trying to speak to you.
Islam ☪️ is not dying it’s growing at a phenomenal rate. So Jesus,Moses,Abraham,Noah and all the other prophets of Islam ☪️ are proud of it.
Surprised they had a civilised conversation with someone they have complete different politics with
Welby
The church only has its self to blame. The king as head needs to take responsibility. Bring back the crusades.
St. George's Day is not a major Christian Festival.
Calvin if i don't go to church do you assume I'm no longer Christian
Scripture says not to forsake the assembly.
Churches should be open 24/7 a week and not have doors locked
They used to be until vandals and people who have jo respect for anyone or anything started vandalising them and stealing anything that wasn't nailed down. Even a church near me broken into at night so an illegal rave could take place. Took the congregation and minister days to clean it up so it could be used for services.
I became agnostic when I didn’t see Jesus come yet. I’m trying to come home
Sadly, by being a tolerant religion, Christianity gave birth to liberalism, turbo charged socialism, and is now replacing itself with woke secularism. Islam on the otherhand, being intolerant, is impervious to time. The paradox of Tolerance.
We are sitting in a tree enjoying the beautiful fruit. The whole tree grew on Christian roots. How stupid to hack off the roots and think to achieve better fruit. Rethink, follow Jesus, he set the good ethic rules. Going to a church is optional. Try to find one where people follow Jesus and make deciples. But churches can be nice places where young and old, silly and wise, black and white, professor and plumber mix and appreciate each other. Church is a family, a social network to catch you, when you are down, or up!
“Their throats are open graves; their tongues practice deceit.”“The poison of vipers is on their lips...
For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people''.
Father!!🙏
Mother!!
It would be good if the resurrection would happen inside everyone then maybe more and more people would get the point.
"If you are attracted to Christianity you are attracted to the truth" Emma Webb
I would argue that truth should be replaced with honesty, as a lot of Christianity is not based on science, which is one of the most contentious threads of progressive Christianity at the moment (trans/biology etc.).
Jesus said I am the way and the truth no one comes to the father except through me you choose life or death it's your decision heaven or hell it's your choice not god's
So non believers and devotees of other religions, buddhists for example, are going to hell. Must be right, I suppose, as it's written in an ancient book.
Humans need to believe in something. It's sad the drop of christianity but Christianity had lost its way. In our modern society we're seeing 'behind the curtain'
No they don't. You should only believe things which are supported by evidence, not things which are indistinguishable from fairy tales like religion.
They don't celebrate St. George's day? The great martyrs day?
Random question: what part of England is Emma Webb from? I'm usually good with English accents, but I can't work her's out.
The bloated corpse of Christianity is rapidly decaying - things are looking up
Fool. Not mine, but the bibles
There are those believers like me who don't want to be indoctrinated within the church threshold, it's been mission creep like this for years, it puts me off.
