The redemption of mankind was based upon the prophetic calendar (Lev 23,) the first 4 appointed times of the lord have been fulfilled. Passover, feast of unleaven bread ,first fruits, Pentecost. The remaining 3 appointed times ( feast of trumpets, day of atonement, Tabernacles) most of necessity be fulfilled,so while the church is looking away from the appointed times of the lord with a replacement calendar it will lose its urgency!

Ishtar's(aka astarte, inanna, or queen of heaven) Sunday is after the first full moon after the spring equinox which happened to be after passover during the days of unleavened bread the year Peter was arrested. Passover is Nissan 14(I think) and has nothing to do with the moon goddess or eating the pig that killed her son tamuz.

Easter happens in 2023 on 16th of April, when the Holy Light descends in a miraculous way, in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem (hopefully this year also!). Easter can be experienced and celebrated with the Eastern Orthodox churches, who kept the tradition of Easter alive. Easter is not about food, rabbits and chocolate. For the westerners it became unfortunately a pagan holiday. But it is not for Eastern Orthodoxy!
There is still time, search for an Easter Orthodox Church, this week (10-15th April) is a week of great services in Church, fasting and preparations for the Resurrection!
    Glory to God!

The Catholics have a lot to answer for. What is wrong with the disciples saying to Jesus. "where will we keep the "Passover". Not, our western view or event of "Easter". Its taking The Exodus out of Easter.
By the way. Charity is " Love In action"

My belief is the word Easter was named after the Goddess Eastorix and went to earlier pagan Goddesses. The resurrection is very important but does the name Easter need to be removed?

Hi would someone please tell me WHY Easter changes ever year ????. If Jesus was born on 25th December it doesn’t matter what day of the week it lands on BUT say for example he died on the 4th April why is it not always the 4th of April ???. It can vary by a matter of 2 weeks thank you

'Ostara', 'Eastre' or 'Eostre', Ishtar, Astarte, fertility, rabbits and eggs all symbols of pagan fertility worship; false gods and idol worship condemned in the Bible. "Further, what harmony is there between Christ and Beʹli·al? Or what does a believer share in common with an unbeliever? And what agreement does God’s temple have with idols?" 2 Corinthians 6:15,16.
True Christianity shuns paganism because it is premised on lies and misinformation about God in order to deceive us. Interestingly, one of the elements of Eostre that the apostate church didn't co-opt was that of the serpent and dragon imagery. The serpent, the dragon...remind you of anyone?

The tradition needs to be changed, Jesus was not crucified on Friday and rise on Sunday, he WAS GONE BEFORE DAWN ,so rose Saturday night. The family wanted his body as the NEXT DAY WAS PREPARATION DAY..What else is the church not up front about? Welby is allowing the world to dictate.

There is no consenus of the exact date, but it doesn't matter anyway. First establish whether such an esteemed person ever existed. There is no evidence of any such person as Jesus, except those names of Jewish rebels, since Yeshua was a common name at the time, mentioned by Flavius Josephus. Once we eliminate the secular records concomitant with Jesus' alleged time line, there is nothing left to go on. The accounts mentioning the Christian Jesus come at least 30 or more years later, just enough time to create a literary story by topology, which cannot be used as evidence or proof. There is not a shred of evidence or proof for the existence of the Christian godman. All accounts are second hand and third hand, there is no historical Jesus in the Pauline epistles the oldest writings, and the claim that they "were telling the truth because they were ready to die...." is a cop out.
