For state #15 we were in our home state of Tennessee! Located just 20 miles south of Nashville, Franklin, Tennessee used to just be thought of as a suburb of the much larger Music City, but in the past decade, Franklin has made a name for itself as a worthy destination all on its own. We had the opportunity to spend a weekend exploring this idyllic southern town and put together what we think is the perfect weekend getaway! From wine tasting at Arrington Vineyards to E-Bikes on the Natchez Trace Parkway to exploring the charming Leiper’s Fork Village, we loved every second of our time in Franklin!

We’re Matt and Nat, a part time travel couple based out of Nashville, TN. Like everyone else, 2020 turned our world upside down. With more time on our hands than ever and multiple international trips canceled, we were left wondering what our 2021 travel plans would look like.
What we realized is that we wanted to see more of our own beautiful country, so we decided to set out on our biggest adventure yet… to see all 50 states in a year!

Puckett's has live music almost every night!

I-65 is one of my main travel lanes. I really need to learn to take the time to park this truck and Uber to some if these places... As far as Mac n chz goes Jason Aldeans restaurant in Nashville is hands down the best ever and can't be beat...lol..neat...... next video

Maybe y’all should start a diet channel as well, on how to eat like y’all do and stay reasonably thin like y’all are! I love to travel, and food is one of my passions. I do a lot of cardio and eat pretty healthy during the week, and enjoy food on Friday and Saturday nights, and on vacation. Enjoying your channel. If you haven’t made a Montana video yet, looking forward to it. Our trip to Glacier National Park was canceled because of covid in 2020. Looking forward to rescheduling!
After getting rude comments about how we’ve put on weight doing all of this travel, we appreciate your comment more than you know! Lol… We TRY to be somewhat active when we’re home, but honestly need to make it a bigger priority in our routine. And also just like you, try to eat somewhat healthy when we’re not traveling. And when we can’t eat as healthy as we’d like, we try to watch our portions.
And I’m not sure if you saw yet, but you were right on time! Our Montana video in Glacier National went live earlier this week! Hopefully you’ll get to make up your trip soon because it was one of our favorites!

In Oct I spent over $200 for 2 afternoon teas at The Empress Hotel in Victoria, BC Canada...not impressed...major ripoff! Your $5 tea looked just as inviting! Been trying to decide where to go once borders open...most of my usuals would be too hot 🥵. Maybe it’s time to think outside the box and do Tennessee...for the music 🎶, the food 🍱, the history and beauty? Thanks guys👍😘🍷🏌️♀️

The Omni is probably the most action packed location in the middle of out all, but Tru and Hyatt place are good options as well! Hi! We’ve been to Franklin and it’s beautiful. We’re considering a trip to Asheville, NC. Would you mind comparing Asheville and Franklin as far as beauty, cleanliness, and things to do. Which city did you like best?
Hey!! Thanks so much for watching! Asheville and Franklin are two VERY different towns. Franklin is small and more of the picturesque southern town while Asheville is much larger and not as clean. Franklin is very conservative while Asheville is very liberal. As far as scenic views, Asheville wins by a long shot with it being in the mountains. I hope this helps!😊
