Would appreciate any advice on this problem. My pc will at random time intervals black screen whilst I’m on PUBG. I’ll have to manually restart the computer and when doing so, in device manager, it says my drivers aren’t compatible so I have to update them for It to work again, I get a kernel power error every time. Ive tried a full DDU, deleting every PUBG file and re installing and changing my power settings as well as disabling windows from auto installing drivers. Ive been playing Starfield and CS2 without an issue. What else can I try.
This has finally happened to my day one original PlayStation 5 I’m just livid just about 6 months out of GameStop’s extended warranty 🤦🏻♂️ now I’m waiting on Sony to send me the shipping package to send to them but of course I have to wait 😒
thats the corporate culture pehnomena, manufacturing and selling more , instead of publishing approproate maintenance and service journals for public domain.
Digikey sell, to the consumer, 0402 caps for 0.4p each at quantities of 100,000. The amount that Sony buy I bet they pay at least an order of magnitude less, maybe two orders.

Joey you never fail to amaze your problem solving seems to have no end, great job great to watch.
How do you know what value of capacitor to use? Is it from referencing another PS5 board? Or a schematic?

Shame that a several hundred dollar machine gets wrecked by a component that's mere cents.

That’s the case with all complex machines, mechanical or electrical.
An old motorcar can become unusable if the gasket seal is gone for example.
