2005 Dodge Magnum RT. Very satisfied. I bought it new and the only thing I've had to replace was an EGR valve and the air conditioning compressor. When it was brand new there was a problem with condensation from the AC leaking into the transmission because of a missing o-ring seal on the dipstick tube. They had no seal but they flushed the transmission. I sealed the area and using a flexible tube rerouted the condensation away from the transmission. It's great for road trips and it can also haul a 6-foot ladder and lots of supplies with the back seats folded down. Since its garaged when it's not being used, it still looks like new inside and out.
I could understand issues on new technology but these issues are on components they’ve been making for decades. This video convinced me I will never buy one, especially buying a used one in a few years.
Hard to believe the company with the most pick ups sold around the world would come out with a new “mini” version that doesn’t blow away the competition. Americans wonder why we lose market share when it comes to cars and trucks. The vast majority of us would buy American if we knew we were getting better product with better life cycles. This has gone on for decades and yet the big three are just tone deaf to the needs of the customer. It pains me to think I was in the market for a Ranger. I love their style but I work too hard for my money. Why do Toyota and Honda keep staying ahead of US brands. Hello Tundra….😢

In their race to have the biggest touchscreen and the most nanny gadgets, they forgot to make a truck. Plus the prices are ridiculous. Trucks are supposed to be relatively cheap and meant to work, not pamper.
Recalls, build quality, and a bad engine, the Maverick hybrid got a better more reliable engine with the old Derutec engine, instead of the rubber belt oil pump driven ecoboost in engine oil! Who was the idiot that did that?
I dont know if we have the same spec rangers in Australia , but they sell a lot of rangers here , i think it has knocked the hilux off the top selling ute/pick up here . Given the choice for me , id buy the hilux .
Crappy quality, under powered, ultra crappy 10 speed automatic transmission, craptacular reliability and you would think that by now they’d have figured it out
i looked at the Ranger and Maverick but the price was more than a lightly used F150. Why would someone buy less truck? The fuel economy is not that much better.

14 recalls on my 2020 f550 and I have seen more cyber trucks then rangers on the road.
That's why you see more Toyota Hilux than Rangers where I live.

40K price tag for a ranger is insane. Ford shot itself in it's own foot.
Scary that ford thinks it has enough trust that they can get to electric game. They can’t even do the electrical work on a petro motor.
