This speaker sounds good real good when it works.... i bought the radiant R3 to use them as 2 rear channel speakers. I hooked it up and was blown away from the improvement. Upon further use the way they all connect together is a problem. To sync them all up you must use WI-FI. This causes 2 problems. 1 Dolby Atmos can not be done through WI-FI. 2 and the big problem, the wireless card inside the soundbar is very poor. The connection to the wireless itself cuts out and losses connection 3-5 times a day. This causes for no sound at all through the speakers. Its very frustrating and i wish i could just hard wire it all together. If anyone has suggestions im all ears.
I have a few questions, do you have to keep switching from movie setting every time you want to watch something or it automatically switch between games n movies ? Or it doesn’t have game option ? If I connect the wires from the speakers into the tv only would I enjoy every or better to connect it with Xbox ? Is the subwoofer wireless only or does it comes wire too ? Thanks :)
Joe Hall yes it does with my Xbox one s, i usually just turn on Dolby Atmos bitstream which is the only way to get multichannel pcm into the soundbar, it won't let you change it to 7.1 or 5.1 because the soundbar won't output the center channel.
How loud dose it get I going to be moving either into an apartment or a four plex. I don't wanna be keeping my neighbours up all night I just need something that will be good for movies and my games I like the two HDMI in I could hook up my 4K Blu Ray player and my PS4 Pro.
Ryan S this sound bar is a beast for music! Pairing the app w/ it is the way to go. Has an EQ that i really like. i live in an apartment so i really have to keep it low. Volume goes to 100; i nvr go higher than 10 or 12. It’s decent for movies. Not a lotta TV watching here.
I own this soundbar since 2018,To this day, I still have never seen the dolby atmos words on the soundbar screen. I don't even know if dolby atmos is working since it has no instructions to how to set it up m
Who does one believe? AVFORUMS or What Hi Fi sound and vision. They give it a 3 star that's not what you want when you pay nearly £1000.00 for. To very different opinions. I think the LGJS9 SOUNDBAR is much better value for money. You can get it for just over £ 600.00 .

Can I add the Samsung radiant R1 to this soundbar? Are they compatible?

Nakamichi Shockwafe Ultra 9.2 is better, otherwise a proper 5.1.2 Atmos setup blows many soundbars out of the water.
