My era war - Vietnam - I try to picture Easy Company as our troops in Vietnan and what they also went through. I was in the Navy 1969-96 (3 active and 23 reserve) and was stationed on the east coast in the P-3 Orion squadrons (VP-49 & VP-62). Never saw combat but I honor and thank all of our Vietnam veterans...as I honor and thank all of our troops. It's a shame, since Korea, that the politicians get us into wars but won't let us fight them while they go on living in Martha's Gardens etc.
The British, US and Canadian forces that stormed those beaches faced intolerable odds and truly horrific conditions, but they endured and bought us freedom from tyranny at incredible cost! As did so many allied combattants from numerous other theatres of operation - Australians, NZ's, Indians, South Africans, and many others too numerous to mention. We owe them a debt of grattitude that can never be paid, but one we must continue to value and try to make ourselves worthy of, particularly in the face of the evil that still pervades this world. Currently there can be no more relevant a threat than the despot in the Kremlin! We will remember them and we must never relinquish our guard to allow such evil to profit again!

For some reason, I feel like I'm watching this for the first time again. Kudos to whomever made this.
Your choice of clips, the chosen sound track.... unbeatable. ...... Bravo! Awesome video! ♥
The best thing ever made for television. Ever
Sends shivers down the back . The hell they seen and lived through , only those who were there could understand . . A respect and all as one for each other . Described by spears is exactly right . The mindset as it has to be . . Winters , one of the most respectful decent people so humble and caring protective of his men . Total respect to all who served in all the allied forces around the world . . . Lest we shall forget . . .
I will always have unending respect for anyone who assaulted a beach or lept from an airplane to go into combat. Their lives were changed forever. Thank you HEROES for making the lives of all the people of this Republic free.
The beautiful part of this great movie is that it is true with real life heroes. Leadership is spelled Richard Winters.
La mejor miniserie que he visto, impactante y si que te saca lágrimas.
Amazing actors did the Vets proud
Thank you ❤️
Some of the finest television you can EVER see.
Desde Chile soy un agradecido con todos los que lucharon y murieron por un mundo libre. God Bless them
A fitting tribute. Always remembered. Vale Richard Winters and his company of heroes.
I've seen that dvd over 100 times it's so good
Such a magnificent series about such magnificent men.
Best war drama ever made. I watch it (and The Pacific) every year AT LEAST once.
This DVD is a must for every person to own..
We know the cost of war, now we can see the cost.
Thank you..
Truly the GREATEST GENERATION. Thank you.
"Who will remember me".... we will, and we will tell the tales of your courage to our sons, and they will tell their sons of what you did for us.... and the rest of the world.
Best overall summary of this series. Well put together and presented.
I hate war. But I also love freedom. And my love of freedom and our shared love of freedom there in lies the road to war. The only thing left to decide is which wars we have to fight. Happy VE Day my brothers and sisters from every corner of earth.
One of the best Band of brothers tribrute I have seen In a long time
Nice done
These were the young mens liberating my country, giving their lives. I still ask myself who gave the 56 "thumbs down".
They were normal citizen before "Uncle Sam" called them. They gave everything....their live.
This is depicted in the best war movie of all times. Everyone should watch it to understand the times of 44/45.
I always think about them....when I stand in front of the war grave of my grand-uncle. Someone I have never seen, but were told a lot about him. He was killed...19 years old in Normandy...believing in his cause, as the men of Winters did`.
Lets honour this young men!
These were real men, men of fiber, brave and true warriors, they feared nothing the toughest guys ever forged
Gpa said no but i served in a company of heros....epic
If you want to know what battle is like, watch this series. If you want to know what he'll on earth is like watch The Pacific. In fact every one should be made to watch both, specially the politicians of the world, though they normally don't do the fighting but maybe there would be a little less violence in the world.
politicians don't care.
they're so insulated from everything especially politicians of america that they have the luxury of acting all reckless.
even european politicians aren't this reckless.

I buried my old man with shrapnel still in him from a Japanese Grenade
the Pacific is Brutal....you almost can just feel for them as they are drained every day from the combat they experience.
@@RileyDude27 Dad drank a lot when I was little...after the 7-8th beer he'd slam it down on the counter and he would change like a chameleon...His eyes spoke the horror of war....
You know what he told me about money in the jungle... what it's good for...you can wipe your a with it
LoL....He brought that up a story about winning over 600 bucks in a poker game...he held on to three 7 and got the fourth on the draw! Anyway...He would say....Son they was a helluva lot of money back then...then he would say...but you know what money is good for in the Jungle...it's good for wiping......
That speaks volumes...there's nothing out there but jungle and enemy... nasty brutal stuff...
@@ericunderwood8080 God Bless his valiant soul, and you and the rest of his family that he has left behind.
Whenever I have a bad day...I just think of these men ..and what they did ..Take a deep breath and move on !!!
I wish that I couldve met a member to this unit, but sadly I was too young. I now go to my future of becoming one of the few proud and honorful Marines that serves this country. I wish to make the memories with my unit as these men made with each other, their sacrifice cause me to be here today. I hope to honor the legacy that they have created.
"Served in a company of heroes". Epic!
One of best war movies. Thanks for sharing.
Reading Ambrose's book, and then seeing the series (and buying the DVD set), and later reading about the men of Easy passing on during the decades (and wondering could I have been as courageous and tactically aware and proficient as they were). They will never be forgotten.
Great video thank you so much for creating it ! Beautiful tribute to this masterpiece
other war movies dont have this mood, feelings, theme that this series has... the best war movie ever made
Hands down..Greatest generation and still so.
Vou lembrar para sempre ! From Brazil !❤️🇧🇷
All of us who have ever served will remember you guy's!
😢 To those who made this, Very Well Done. You have captured the emotions of every soldier, in every war. No one could understand unless they were there. Again, Very Well Done 🥺👍👏
That was a gut shot to the feels🇺🇸
Respect! From England!
i compare these men to some of the sorry individuals that people admire today, and it saddens and disgusts me.
In memory of my Uncle. Otis Morvan ......who jumped June 6th, 1944, and lived to tell about it ..... RIP. Uncle Otis ................ 101st, 504th PIR ...... He was so kind to me ......... :-(
That made you feel you were part of every episode so real and poignant. Can't think what they seen and had to do God bless the lot of them
Best TV series ever made.
Serving on a swift boat in Vietnam I always hesitated setting foot on actual ground. The seals and rangers I transported always told me they hated setting foot on the waterways. One thing we could have had and didn’t was this totally awsum music to get a lift from. Awsum
This is absolutely the best war mini series ever they made. My favorite one
Outstanding! This brings back and reminds of so many of the moving moments of this production. It may only be a representation of reality but it makes me realize what extraordinary men they were.
I saw this show on TV two weeks ago at work, immediately fell in love with it. Had to find out what it was, went home, found it on Hulu and have watched it 4 times all the way through now. I wish there was more.
Don't wish for more. You might get it.
@@stewartritchey7602 I'm am now about to finish it for my 28th time lol. I bought the DVD set too, and it got me into Saving Private Ryan, and I bought that DVD as well. Geez, 4 months ago I found it, that's crazy, I thought I found it in December.
One of the best series I've seen in my life!
OMG, with that background music it motivates you to many things for vivid memories !!!!!!!!!!
Thank you very much for uploading the video, I really appreciate it!!!!!
I will be the revenge of all those who fought her side by side, from near or far
And they couldn't laugh without crying. I love this country ese!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May this war never happen again ' those that survived were never the same , and those who died , will never fight again . And god bless the peacemakers of this world .
To all our brothers, fathers and grandfathers who served - Thank You and Bless You all.
Almost every time I watch this movie I break down and cry...they were absolutely the best of our American youth and they were put through the worst conditions possible and they beat the best of the best.. how I dream of the time then wishing we could have those men and women living today and making our country respected and loved world wide..oh how I wish...🥺
Be careful what you wish for. You might get it.
My Grandfather was in the real life sister platoon of Easy Company. Watching Band of Brothers is watching his story.
"Were you a hero?"
"No, but I served in a Company of Heroes."
Die beste serie aller Zeiten
