I gotta say regardless of what you two are talking about I smile and am thankful to have you guys back together! I’ll listen to you two talk about mowing lawns because your dynamic makes me smile cuz we had to go without it for awhile! Love both of you guys hope you and your families are doing well!! Keep up the great content 💪🏽
I think a great video would be to build a few clubs to compare for the two different clubs I see most golfers wanting - the 21-degree (7wood, 4-hybrid) 200-225 long Par 3 club for 97-105 swing speed players and 2ndly, the modern 5-iron replacement being the 23-25 degree 180-195 yard (either 9wood/5hybrid) club for the 88-95mph swing speed players. Would love to see heavier & lighter shafts & longer & shorter shafts being used.
Just moved from Sim 2 to Tsr2. The bigger head took some time to adjust to but the performance is great. Paired with the HB Ventus Blue this club is doing magic for me, from the tee and into long par 5’s.
So was just fitted for a TSR3 Hybrid at Miles of Golf (Ypsilanti, MI) - and have to say it was AMAZING!!! once dialed in it was on autopilot. (19*, Tensei 1K Black 95x, C-4, T2)
Im considering a similar move... I have been having less than ideal luck with my FW woods.. im gonna go driver, 4 wood (17.25), 3 hybrid with a 4 hybrid length shaft (85g tensei black set to 20 degrees) and a 4 hybrid with a 5 hybrid length shaft (95g tensei black set to 22 or 23 degrees)
I've got a 24 degree TS2 hybrid that I love. I needed to fill a gap between that and my 5 wood, also a TS2 which is also a great club. So when my wife wanted to go to Greenville, SC today to hang out, I used that as an excuse to go to the GOlf Galaxy. I picked up the TSR2 20 degree, regular flex hybrid. I'll be playing it on 3/3 to test it out.
I have the TSi2 4 Hybrid and it's easily one of my favorite clubs. Aesthetically you can't beat it either, looks like a smaller wood than some of the oddly shaped one's out there. Sounds and feels great too.
With every new club release it becomes more and more obvious that limit has been reached. Its really just new, expensive and shiny. And the brands know that enough people will buy into the myth that every year there is a better driver or hybrid that will make your game better. Only way to improve is improving swing, course management and mental game. Of course we cant expect TXG to admit this, they live from selling equipment. They do have an advantage though being good at fittings.
The TSR line of woods and hybrids do not disappoint in any fashion. These set of clubs HAVE to be in the line of clubs to be tested out and fitted for. So long as you are in the market and seek new tools for the bag!
I’ve been waiting for the hybrid to launch before going to get fit for a fairway/hybrid or fairway/fairway combo after being fit into the TSR3 driver at 9* 4 weeks ago! The TSR3 hybrid sounds perfect for me as I tend to struggle with too much spin and that adjustment brought the spin down a ton, excited!
Great video as always guys. Titleist have smashed it with the TSR line up and I had to replace everything this year (look and performance). TSR 2 Driver, TSR 5 wood (18 deg), TSR 4 Hybrid (21 deg). I feel the three gap really well for me and no need to have a 3 wood or 7 wood.
Driver, hybrid, hybrid, hybrid, hybrid. Just pure versatility. Love them to launch a little higher, and spin a bit more including the 16 degree. It would be nice to have the adjustability that the TSr3 can deliver. Hybrids are just wonderful.
My setup now is Driver, 2 hybrid, 4 hybrid. Finding that I can hit the 2 hybrid more consistently than a 4/5 wood as well as it being a lot more versatile and workable than a fairway wood.
Great video as always. I play 818 H2 at C2 20*. It’s everything I wanted a 20* driving iron to do but I can hit it off the fairway and the rough so easily. 99% of the time it’s my go-to fairway option. Easy to shape both ways with a grip change and a swing path thought. There’s a couple of 200-220y par 3’s on my course I need something if it’s playing into the wind and the 4i can’t make it. I’ve just put the TSi 13.5* in the bag today. Had a range session dialling it in. Ended up at A2, neutral weight as I wanted a tee option that turned over easily, which it does. Both for into the wind where a fade is penalised and for the six dogleg lefts at my home course. Driver is (and always has been) a fade club.
I have always fought to keep the flight down. So I have been playing as a srixon u85 18* driving iron for years and absolutely love it. Off the tee or off the deck it’s great only downside is hitting it out of the rough.
This was the final piece of the puzzle for my bag! TSR4 9*, OG SIM 3w, 20* Cally UW, TSR3 24* 5H (instead of 4i), MP20 MB 5-P, Jaws Full Toe 54 & 60. I've tried so many utility irons, hybrids and player's irons in the 4i slot for that 220 carry club. It was always missing on enough launch and too much spin, ending up in a 210ish club at best. Never thought I'd see a 5H in my bag.😂 Lefty setting D4 T1 w/ CK Pro White 100X or 2.0 AV Raw White 100X (testing)
Playing a g425 2 hybrid (17*) and then going down to a Taylormade stealth 7 wood (21*). I like the hybrid for low piss missiles off the tee on a windy day. And I love the 7 wood for long approaches.
TSR is a great line up this year, from driver to hybrids. Might give the driver a try even though the G430 was really good when I tested it. Thanks for the tests as always!
tried out the Tsr2, Tsr3, ping 430, qi10 4-h. the Tsr2 smashed them all. I was able to shape my draw even on miss hits where the others just shot strait right. so a year later they are still top.
Been thinking about a new current model hybrid, after this review . Currently using TaylorMade SLDR 18 degree and this club is still a beast, as good as the SLDR is, I have a want for something newer that has similar but better performance My bag progression goes driver, 5 wood, hybrid then irons. Mostly using TaylorMade with the exception of putter and wedges (Edel Wedges and Cobra 3D putter). I am one that has no issue with a mixed bag of brands as different equipment works differently for each person and this is from a professional bowling pro shop operator and fitter.
Just went from the tsi2 3 and 4 hybrids to the tsr3 3 and 4 hybrids.. I liked both the tsr 2 and 3 but I went with the tsr3 because the bigger head of the tsr2 was throwing me off looking down at the ball. Great clubs
I might be going Driver (TSR2 10), my old 3W (917F2 16.5), 5W (TSR2 18) and 4 hybrid (TSR2 21) this year to get some more versatility in the long end of the bag!
Great Video as always from the lads. Right now I am experimenting with a bag setup consisting of 3 wood, 2 Hybrid, and 3 driving iron. I do not have a gap wedge in the bag with my wedges being 48, 54, and 60. Right now the 2 hybrid and driving iron spot are still up for debate. I think the callaway UW fits in at a good spot but in terms of my 3 driving iron i would like it to fly a little higher so it can have the ability to hold greens. therefore a hybrid might replace it but i need some more on course testing
@@nzigg8161 Hope it works out. Think the 21 could be great if I can hit the # at the higher loft. Also have the option to loft down and hit bullets for tight courses. See what fitting recommends
Driver, 3-wood, 5-wood, 4-iron here. I'd like to get a 3-iron. 20 years ago, I had a 2-iron I loved, but traded away from it and my wife talked me into letting it go.
I'd love to see this hybrid vs a 5 wood. Maybe a 2 hybrid vs 5 wood? I struggle picking. I love a wood so end of last year replaced my 2h with a 5 wood.
Tried these yesterday at a Titleist Fitting Centre. Terrible fit, (lack of shaft options, very little input from the fitter, had to make my own suggestions of different things to try) but clubs are really nice. TSR3 was my pick so will be ordering when able, just a shame there was only three shafts to try and no premium options (to match my fairway/driver).
Hear Barath say you can put wood shafts in the TSR1 hybrid adapter, and then put that adapter in either the TSR2 or TSR3. Can you confirm this? TSR2 with a wood shaft is interesting.
I play a 816 21 turn down to 20 and my biggest issue is that flat low draw. Makes my 245 club a low longer ad hell 260+ plus club. That said - I won't take it out the bag because I can shape it in any way I need it to
Suppose you could add a heavier weight to the 2, moving a little more mass forward in the face, then adjust the loft down and similarly create a 2 bomber but perhaps with a little more stability than the 3???
For me driving/utility irons are a one trick pony due to there lack of versatility in going for a par 5 in 2. Can I hit UI's high and soft? Yeah but it's a lot harder to pull off than hitting a higher flying hybrid low if I need to.
Why do our hybrids tend to have a draw/hook miss? I used to fade my hybrid naturally now I find the hook is always my miss and I'm scared of it sometimes hah
So basically: Tsr3 if your looking for something primarily off a tee or struggle with too much spin. Tsr2 if your looking for a long approach club or need more spin.

They are the Butch and Sundance of golf 😀 Great to see both back at TXG again, makes such a difference to the vibe and content.
Go for it!
7w vs. 4h comparison will be great!!
Have the 818s and ready to renew- the sound of the TSR alone has me sold
Can't wait for Ronnies hybrid fitting
Cheers form norcal

Stripe show! Amazing how the adjustments to the 3 showed immediate changes in ballflight. Wowzers!

Would love to see another comparison of the tsr3 hybrid and tsr3 5 wood with how versatile these clubs have become
I have the TSi2 4 Hybrid and it's easily one of my favorite clubs. Aesthetically you can't beat it either, looks like a smaller wood than some of the oddly shaped one's out there. Sounds and feels great too.
The 818 H1 was the best hybrid I’ve ever gamed. I have the whole set of Gravity Core’s in my shop. They actually worked.

Looking to upgrade my hybrids this year. Titleist and Ping are definitely at the top of my list.
I had a ping G425 4 hybrid and it was the easies club I’ve ever hit. Perfect fairway finder too.
I've got the Callaway uw woods in 17 and 21 degree. I love them both.
I’ve got the same clubs and absolutely love them. They are a game changer for me and so fun to hit.
The stock HZRDUS is a great shaft too.
Thanks for this. Great content as always, my go-to channel for club/shaft reviews. Would be interested in a TSR3 vs TSi3 comparison.
My setup now is Driver, 2 hybrid, 4 hybrid. Finding that I can hit the 2 hybrid more consistently than a 4/5 wood as well as it being a lot more versatile and workable than a fairway wood.
Titleist hybrids are so good I had the 913, 818, and now TS2.

Would love to see some more videos where you focus on the effects that weight/loft/etc adjustments have like you did with the TSR3 here
I recently got the tsr2 7 wood and it fits the gap in bag that has been screw my game up recently. It's also great to hit into greens
Playing a g425 2 hybrid (17*) and then going down to a Taylormade stealth 7 wood (21*). I like the hybrid for low piss missiles off the tee on a windy day. And I love the 7 wood for long approaches.
Thanks lads I was waiting for this one Enjoying my tsi3 hybrid you guys fit me for so excited to try the tsr3 soon
How do you compare the TSR3 vs TSI3 hybrid?
TSR is a great line up this year, from driver to hybrids. Might give the driver a try even though the G430 was really good when I tested it. Thanks for the tests as always!
On the website they mentioned the TSR2 being more of a sweeper club. Would you guys agree? I am typically a steep angle of attack guy.
Wouldn't mind a little update to the hybrid vs 5wood topic with maybe some special thought toward dispersion/accuracy.
tried out the Tsr2, Tsr3, ping 430, qi10 4-h. the Tsr2 smashed them all. I was able to shape my draw even on miss hits where the others just shot strait right. so a year later they are still top.

I love my 19 apex UW. Point and shoot

Hit TSR3 21 today. Just a tad too hot. Was flying 230, hoping the 24 at c1 hits the 220 carry
I just ordered up a TSR3 - 24 looking for that 220-215 range. I went in blind
@@nzigg8161 Hope it works out. Think the 21 could be great if I can hit the # at the higher loft. Also have the option to loft down and hit bullets for tight courses. See what fitting recommends
Another great video. Great clubs and very informative from you both.
Driver, 3-wood, 5-wood, 4-iron here. I'd like to get a 3-iron. 20 years ago, I had a 2-iron I loved, but traded away from it and my wife talked me into letting it go.
I'm still gaming the 816H2 19°... never been inclined to change it or try anything else as I can't see how it would make any difference
I’m still playing the 716 h2 prob the best hybrid ever made is the tsr3 similar to that
UW 19….less left and have wood shaft options.
Barath posted a video recently on IG about the TSR 1&2 hybrids would take a wood adapter shaft in it??
Would appreciate the manufacture comparisons
Could never decide between a fairway or hybrid so went with a Cally UW.
Great choice! I can’t believe other companies aren’t offering similar clubs.
Hear Barath say you can put wood shafts in the TSR1 hybrid adapter, and then put that adapter in either the TSR2 or TSR3. Can you confirm this? TSR2 with a wood shaft is interesting.
Could you guys do a video where you make a TSi1 hybrid into a Titleist version of the UW? .335 shaft!
I've never played a hybrid before and I think I need to add one to my bag! I will be looking at Titleist, Mizuno, and Ping! Any tips would be helpful!
Can you do a comparison on the TSR1 and the TSR2 Hybrid?
What are your guys' thoughts about getting rid of a 4 iron and replacing it with a hybrid instead ?
Smart plan for a lot of golfers!!
Tsr3 hybrid is great get mine in a week 235-245 club
Awesome video!
What is the difference between the fairway wood and the hybrid?
I play a 816 21 turn down to 20 and my biggest issue is that flat low draw. Makes my 245 club a low longer ad hell 260+ plus club. That said - I won't take it out the bag because I can shape it in any way I need it to
Gents, definitely thinking 2023's releases warrant another Driver Bracket/Showdown😏
Can we get a ball comparison between prov 1 and the new Pxg ball
Suppose you could add a heavier weight to the 2, moving a little more mass forward in the face, then adjust the loft down and similarly create a 2 bomber but perhaps with a little more stability than the 3???
For me driving/utility irons are a one trick pony due to there lack of versatility in going for a par 5 in 2. Can I hit UI's high and soft? Yeah but it's a lot harder to pull off than hitting a higher flying hybrid low if I need to.
Please tell me the pxg ball is going to get reviewed on this channel
Why do our hybrids tend to have a draw/hook miss? I used to fade my hybrid naturally now I find the hook is always my miss and I'm scared of it sometimes hah
So basically:
Tsr3 if your looking for something primarily off a tee or struggle with too much spin.
Tsr2 if your looking for a long approach club or need more spin.
Driver
Mini-Driver
Fairway
UW
Hybrid
I guess I have problems 😂
Hybrids bracket - gotta have. A cobra in - built their rep on them
unrelated question - what balls are you guys gaming this year?
No TSR 1 review ?
I’m currently negotiating a lucrative contract with Titleist to NOT use their equipment.
1st 😀
Titleist Hybrid's are so good, I'd rather remove a testicle with a wooden spoon than take my TSi 2 hybrids out of the bag :-)
