Good afternoon, Would you happen to have these by standard? I'm looking to buy the bundles but my school....is doing things its own way. Thus far I've found SS.7.c.2.8 and SS.7.c.2.9. 2.10? 2.11?
Hey John, I have the lesson: www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Interest-Groups-the-Media-Influencing-Politics-2273253 on Interest Grouups and the Media (which covers 2.10 and 2.11) and www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Politics-Evaluating-Candidates-Debates-Platforms-Qualifications-Bias-2272186 which also covers media, bias, symbolism. etc. Thanks for asking. Hope you're off to a good start! Jeff
Yes, definitely!! The Democrats and the Republicans were going at it. The Republicans who had started as the anti-slavery party were moving towards more economic stances. Meanwhile both parties were being impacted by the Progressive Movement representing issues like women's rights, anti-saloon movements, workers rights etc.
I learned that many past 3rd parties were centered around a political personality, and not a radical idea, as many third parties are formed by currently, ex. The TEA Party.
