This bundle has internal-duplication: The Book Generator, Gothic Texture Pack, Gothic Dungeon Props Vol1, Gothic Cemetery Pack, Gothic Furniture Props Vol1, are also a parts of Gothic Interior Megapack and Gothic Megapacks. The Flag Generator, Medieval Props Pack, Medieval Dinnerware Pack are also a part of the Medieval Village Megapack. Feudal Japan Interior Props Vol1 is also part of Feudal Japan Megapack Still worth it, just share the duplicates with a friend.
I got some bad news earlier, but THIS unironically blew my mind so hard I briefly forgot about my troubles, as I've had my eye on that Feudal Mega pack for a few months now, and now its a Humble Bundle. Now if only Humble could cut a deal with Quadspinner and get the $300 version of Gaea in a bundle I would probably scream.
best unreal bundle i have seen in a long time lots of stuff here i already have seen and wanted, glad i didnt pay full price for it! thanks mike, love having you in my feed to let me know when stuff like this pops up. still waiting for unreal christmas in august to drop some time today XD
If you get the pack, be careful: there are duplicates. The Book Generator, Gothic Texture Pack, Gothic Dungeon Props Vol1, Gothic Cemetery Pack, Gothic Furniture Props Vol1, are also a parts of Gothic Interior Megapack and Gothic Megapacks. The Flag Generator, Medieval Props Pack, Medieval Dinnerware Pack are also a part of the Medieval Village Megapack. Feudal Japan Interior Props Vol1 is also part of Feudal Japan Megapack.
The pack is still worth it, at $30 however it is a bit misleading: The Book Generator, Gothic Texture Pack, Gothic Dungeon Props Vol1, Gothic Cemetery Pack, Gothic Furniture Props Vol1, are also a parts of Gothic Interior Megapack and Gothic Megapacks. The Flag Generator, Medieval Props Pack, Medieval Dinnerware Pack are also a part of the Medieval Village Megapack. Feudal Japan Interior Props Vol1 is also part of Feudal Japan Megapack. So you end up with a bunch of duplicates.
@@Isaacrl67 Thank you for your kind words. I would like to clarify that when we mentioned the number of assets (4000+), we did not count the sub-packs. Therefore, you are getting 4000+ unique, non-duplicated assets, and that is why the whole focus of the bundle is on the number of assets and not the number of packs. However, it's true that some smaller props are included in lower-tier sub-packs. The reasoning behind this is that if people choose the lower tier of the bundle, they can still access those assets. But if they want full access to the environment with everything set up for dressing and ready to use, they can opt for the highest tier.
@@MeshingunStudio Thanks for clarifying. Even with the overlap in the individual packs, it's still quite worth the spend for the full set. The assets look great and I appreciate you taking the time to put all of these together.
I really like the Stylized Village and Foliage packs. If I was ever to make a game, I would probably use that style, as I'm terribly bored with all the "photorealistic" everything focus of games nowadays.
Humble might have leaked the aproximate date when EPIC is starting the changes from Unreal Engine Marketplace to the FAB marketplace, as it now appears in that "IMPORTANT" orange warning appears a link that redirects to FAB marketplace, so 19 days + 10 days to redeem, so in 1 month they will probably start the transition
Thanks for posting :] Using your affiliate link yet again! This bundle is crazy good!! Since you have helped many artists purchase assets via your suggestion, do you ever post the work of artists that purchased via your Humble Bundle video links?
@@gamefromscratch My bad bro. Let me try again - Since you help artists find/buy discounted assets, do you ever post their art? Example: Johnny buys the above video's megabundle asset pack via your link. He builds a dope minigame using the assets and shares it with you. You think it's dope so you post it on your website supporting him since he supported you --> "Check out what my subscriber Johnny made"
Here's a question, is there an easy way to simplify or stylize these assets? My game is stylized mid-poly, with mostly synty environments, but higher end characters and props, so I am wondering how to make these assets useful? They look really good!
Hmmmm... You can decimate or create lower LODs but to make high poly stuff low poly style it will almost certainly look like crap. You can easily though apply Shaders etc in post to stylize things however you want.
I mentioned this in a comment yesterday, but several of the asset keys are for sub-packs that are included in the 'Mega' packs. For example, the book generator and all of the gothic props are included in the gothic megapack and gothic interior megapack. I didn't realize this until I had redeemed all the codes, or I would have shared the duplicate assets with a friend.
Has anyone tried to use these type higher quality assets in Godot? If so how are they on performance? I'm asking because I'm switching over to Godot after learning UE5 (as a software engineer, blueprints break my brain).
This is an awesome pack that I just bought. It appears that I already have The Bazaar so if anyone wants that free key for that pack, let me know here. I give it away for free to anyone interested.
honestly if unity didn't look so terrible right out of the box for lighting it wouldn't have such a terrible rep for looking like you dunked milk into a glass of water... 💀
@@wasteurtime5677 Asset wise? Maybe. But all assets needs to be redeemed either on gumroad or on leartes cosmos and imported using their plug in, which is one messy process

I'm starting to have too much of those bundles I don't even know if I'm going to use them, lol
Welcome to hoardersville... Population all of us!
I love these bundles, the only duplicate is the Bazaar.
Also sending 25AUD your way, keep up the great vids

Oh that is very odd.
On the bright side each is a redemption key, so you can gift the duplicates.
@@gamefromscratch Unfortunately, I already redeemed them all before figuring that out. But hopefully others can benefit from knowing in-advance.

Thank you so much for these videos! I’m hoarding some assets to make some simple games for my portfolio.
Awesome to have you announce these!
I was already eyeing the book generator just a couple days ago, but really I am buying it for the mass of environments. Thanks for sharing it!

You can use Post Process effects within Unreal Engine to achieve your desired effect. Intermediate to Advanced skills required - Just a heads up.
Redeemed 0.7 to you, thanks for info
3 unity packs 21 unreal packs and unreal market place changes coming up
6:04 That's what she said
At this point I fear like I had enough assets to create 2 AAA game 😂
Could I use these in Maya or Blender?
Yes, export as FBX and recreate the textures or export as glb with textures baked.
So annoying redeeming so many codes individually for Unreal, they gotta fix that so it's just one to get all like Unity

Rode Mic or Road Mic?
Road mic. :)
Technically a Dji Mic 2. Played with settings think it should sound a bit better on the next recording.
Hello, you should mention that you have a profit from this pack
I do, very clearly, in the video and in the pinned comment.

one 3d model isn't an asset... gtfo
An asset can literally be a single text file smarty-pants.
Ill' leave here a EPIC Key for The Bazaar cause i already had that tasset :)
