I saw Sonata Arctica live in Gothenburg in Sweden back in 1999. They were a foreband to Rhapsody and Stratovarius. Noone had heard the band before and when they enter the stage it looked like they hade just came out from kindergarten. They were so young! But after 1 minute everyones jaw hited the floor. Jajaja lo del keytar fue algo épico cuando lo vi por primera vez también, lo que me da risa es que en el tracklist del show estaba enlistada de la siguente forma: - San Sebastián - The End of This keyboard - The End of This Chapter Ya que después de romper el keytar seguía The End of This Chapter se lucieron.

@@martinnievas7309 de igual manera ahora la banda está intentando retornar a lo que era antes, si comparas el ultimo album con TDOG, SGHN en donde la banda experimentó bastante, ahora como que dejaron eso atrás. Con la vuelta del logo antiguo también dejan entre ver que quieren regresar de cierta forma a sus raices, pero no tanto al Ecliptica
They were great live band in early 2010's still, then something happened and these days they suck live (so do their albums). After Unia album they haven't put out anything amazing

I love Sonata Arctica, but they sucked live. It was either the sound engineer isn't doing his job right, and the Singer has problems singing live.
Tony is great live, but i agree with what you said about their sound engineers
In the solo both the keyboards and the guitar are out of key, I think.
