My Holland is only 2.5 pounds but she has an enormous personality. If you want cute, silly, goofy, fun loving, affectionate. This is for you. They can be a little bossy and sassy but put all together they are so amazing.

Mine is a mle and is not like that he is so mellow and laid back, he is lounging right now like a dog on his side nothing seems to upset him, and he does allot of sitting around, he is almost completely litter box trained and is great,
he is only 41/2 months old, his name is Billy, so i don't know how big he will get, but he is so quiet and content. he fits our home perfectly. and our dog thinks he is his little bro. they hang out together with supervision. my dog is a mix german short haired pointer and Springer Spaniel. named cody,
hes a medium size about 40 pounds, and they get along great. he protects Billy and even hovers over him protectively when he thinks he has to protect him. or maybe hes being possessive. I never leave them unsupervised, cody is still a hinting dog but German short hairs are known to accept all animals small and big, in their family so hes good with the bunny.

this video lost me when they said that i needed a hutch for my rabbit LMFAO. My mini lop is free roam and litter trained, and he doesnt have bad chewing habbits at all. It depends on personalities. Think of it like you getting a puppy, you pick them out for their personality, not just because of the spots.

I had a Holland Lop named Bob. "Dinge the Dirty Rabbit," "Robert Rabbit," "Bob the Bunny," "Beelzebob," "Carpet Chameleon," were his nicknames. He died 10/10/10 at 10 years old. About a year before he died, he developed a cyst on the side of his face that we had to get drained and keep clean constantly. Other than that, he had no health issues. That cyst was horrible, though.

ALSO you said to “very rarely” bathe your rabbits unless they are very dirty.. well.. NEVER EVER EVER bathe your rabbits! This could lead to hypothermia as they already have trouble regulating their temperature and if the water is at the wrong temperature could also put them into shock!!! If you have a special needs rabbit, an elderly rabbit, or just a rabbit that doesn’t seem to groom itself (which is very rarely the case) you can “bathe” it with a damp cloth. You need to check your facts before you tell others about this- you could be putting bunnies in danger. 🙏🙏

I used to bathe my rabbit. Well I only did it once because the wiped were not working and she had so much poop on her butt (it was very hard and stuck to her fur) I didn't clean her whole body though I tried to just clean her butt but she wouldn't stop moving so I accidentally got water on her legs and she kept dragging her feet and eventually died the same day

I have one I’m obsessed with my fatball she’s even cuter now that she’s grown she’s a naughty girl though I don’t have her caged I have her in my patio and full of plants and little houses for her. Bunnies are a lot of work think really hard before you get one because it’s just not the same as having a dog or cat they are only for a certain type of household. They can destroy your home so just be careful before you decide to get a bunny.

I have a female Lop, her name is Polly Anna. Although we should have named her, “Killer.” Alow me to explain.
I rescued Polly from a pet store. I found her in the corner of the cage waiting to die. 2 larger fat rabbits were laying in front of the food and water.
The pet store was very negligent on how they cared for their rabbits. She was 5 weeks old partially blind from cataracts and absolutely (no exaggeration) skin and bones. She is a white and grey colored rabbit. But, her fur was yellow with urine stains. It took a few baths to get the stain and smell out.
When I got her home, she ate about 8 oz of rabbit food in 3 hours and drank a whole water bottle 12 oz. when a woke up the next morning, the food and water bowl was empty again. She eventually gained weight and is now healthy. But, the cataracts are still there.
Now, she constantly trying to lick my face and arms and attacks anyone who gets near me. Never seen a rabbit act like this one. My wife is afraid of her. When she bites, she bites down to the bone. She growls like a dog when anyone else gets close. I’ve never seen anything like her before.
I think my daughter teases her in her cage when no one is looking and I’m not home. So, one time Polly was out of the cage and my daughter came by. Polly leaped through the air without warning with her mouth open wide (like a rabbit yawn) and teeth exposed trying to bite her. Luckily, Polly’s aim was off due to her cataracts.
We have other rabbits, Polly is over 2 years old now. And, the entire time we’ve had her; she will hump any other rabbit she can get her paws on. And, this has never let up. We can’t let her be around the other rabbits since they get irritated with the constant chasing them around.
She doesn’t like to be outside, wants to held constantly and would rather be picked up than given a treat. One time, I hadn’t picked her up in a few days out of having a very busy week. Well, she had pulled out almost half of her fur.
She thumps, whines (whines like a dog) and runs around in a circle when she wants to be picked up. Believe it or not, she will stay out for hours (5-6 hours) before signaling she wants to go back to her cage to pee. Once in her cage, she runs to the corner, pees then signals to be picked up again. She honks loudly when she is displeased with something.
    She is quite a rabbit

❤️my holland lop I got him at 3mo.he is 2yrs now he is house liter trained was difficult until he was nutered he is doing great now I love him so much I worked with him consistently all summer and he is now trained he goes outside my yard is not fenced but he is trained and has never went outside of my yard priamiter...I am concerned though I never see him drinking water. also I need to learn how to trim his nails...it scears me.
and I'm concerned about the fur on the bottom of his feet it feels matted here and there...he is my only pet but my daughter and her cat lived with us for a while at first he was territorial and was pooping here and there outside his box at first then it stopped and they were cute together...most of the time... lol...although they played good the morning bucky realized little bit the cat bed and her and her stuff was no longer in half of his space...he was acting like a kid on Christmas morning and he was running 90 miles an hr through the house and doing binkeys LOL...IF I COULD DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN I WOULD PICK HIM BUT I WISH I WOOULD HAVE CAME HOME WITH HIS SISTER OR BROTHER BECAUSE NOW I FEEL BAD HE DOESNT HAVE A BUNNY FRIEND. I SURE LOVE MY BUCKY ❤️

They are too high maintenance for a child or teen. Here is my typical day (my bun is semifree roam. He has the bathroom and walk in closet for his base and can go in my room (studio apt) from 10 am to 530. At 630 am he is already up. He positions his little body toward the door to the main room. If I don't divert his attention, my day will start then. If not, I have an hour or two to work at my part time jewelry designs. Then, I change his pee pads, throw out the ones and the little PO OS that didn't make it on the pee pads. While Baby sleeps, I order his veg or organic pellets or hay. During his play/ free roam time in the main room, I watch out for places he might jump that are dangerous for him and I have waterproof blankets for the bed. I need to order backups for when I am too tired to do laundry. Then he sleeps for an hour and I prep his veg for lunch (researching the greens he can eat. Unlike the YTers who show their bunnies being fed a third of a banana or other fruit, fruit actually can give buns GI stasis so I stick to the veg that is nontoxic for him. His lunch. Then I make my own while he snoozes and have about 20 mins most days to dance or work out. UN the afternoon he plays and jumps on my bed. Then hopefully he will go into his room by himself by 7p and I make his hay mixed with organic pellets and take a bath. Around then he gets frisky for more playtime as I sweep and vacuum up his hay. Then he wants copious pets, I unpack orders (bags of hay, strawmats, etc. and at 915p to 945p, I say goodnight to him, take out his bag of pee pads to the trash and make my linner. I say linner because I rarely have time for breakfast. I pass out at around midnight. As you can see, this leaves almost no time for things like after school activities and what this does not mention is that buns take up about 75% of your waking day.

I have a holland lop he is only 41/2 months old, sso i don't know how big he will get, but he is all the things mentioned in this video, affectionate ad sweet natured, melowand easy going, he gets along well with our dog who likes to go onto his pen to hang out with him and eat his turds, lol he likes to go around my dog and even lays down with him.
He i so sweet he puts his head on my shoulder when i cuddle him I had him on the table and he sat with his head on my shoulders and made little sweet sounds and made soft clicking sounds with his teeth. showing contentment.
I felt like laying my head down and resting with him leaning on my shoulder. he also likes to press as hard as he can into my husband's neck to cuddle when he holds him.
He licks and is so loving, I really like the breed. we had one holland lop who lived for 11 years so they live a long as a dog. so they have great longevity. we have another holland outside in a rabbit run he is a blond colour and is 5 years old,
he has skin problems, the vet said to feed him veggie oil or fish oil, so I give him about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp. of canola oil mixed with his food it has omega 3 and has been good for his skin,
he was almost bald from plucking himself, its been months and his fur has almost completely grown out, I thought we were going to have to have him out down, but with some skin cream for a patch of skin fungus in the middle of his back, and the oil he has recovered almost completely.

Our pitt does that w/ our guinea pigs. Which really upsets the boys, lol. I can hear them from upstairs.. but we just got a bunny today & he's the cutest. I kinda assumed he was a boy. He just kicks & won't stay still w/ my hubby but is calm w/ me. But than I was like no, maybe it's a girl. It's just sweet, idk. But yah, come to find out, it is a boy. I'm glad the piggies have similiar interests which makes things more convenient. Hes still so small, im paranoid about his eating. I kind of just want to give him a carrot... but my hubby accidently trimmed a hair chunk of 1 of the piggies so bad, it left a wound. Which scabbed over the day later. But it made me so mad, we've just been giving the boys individual times by themselves w/ us. Which 1s mainly the more rowdy 1 tho...The other 2 are more calm. Anywho, I had the American breed up here w/ me earlier today & I forgot what annoying buggy type usual thing my hubby was doing, (maybe just talking, lol) but whiskers, my piggy, he really ran to me like it's OK mom! I got you! Ha he's so precious. Like yeah ok, w/ your 1 lb self. Which humored my hubby too tho., so he leaned into for a kiss, & whiskers leaned in towards for it too. Guess it's back to gradually syringe feeding my toy looking bunny . He's so whiwhoa. I think even the piggies r bigger.
