It’s so sad to see how the historical places were destroyed. I never knew there were Buddhist statues there. It must have been amazing when it existed before it was destroyed. You have the BEST channel for travel content. I don’t really watch travel content because of how cringey it can be but you are so respectful and insightful and give amazing real life perspective. Looking forward to seeing many more countries with you
I totally wanted to see a longer version about your trip to Afghanistan. Thanks for this! I’m glad you made it back safely. My heart goes out to those people. I wish things were better over there. I learned a lot, though.
I have watched it twice! It’s so interesting and emotionally moving. I could feel the heaviness and sadness at times. I love that you added the QnA it really clarifies things and I really appreciate your heartfelt sharing. You are a very brave caring young woman and I love your videos so much!!!❤
Your Afghanistan video and edition is really one of the best travels you made. Because of its history, unique culture, and beautiful historical places.
this is a wonderful video, thank you! its my dream to visit every country in the world someday. thank you for being so kind and compassionate and showing us what its like
You are very brave. I clicked on this video not expecting to watch the entire thing, but I did. I see some people blasting you in the comments but unfortunately that comes with their culture. Don’t take it to heart. I wish you the best
At least we don't rape them unlike indian who rape their guests who go to india as tourist like Amy Manson tourist from England who went to mumbai and was raped by 4 indians or Carolina De Paolo 24 years old tourist from Germany raped in delhi ,india many others
I’ve never met a happy hindu. not once. They're always depressed, suicidal, being obsessed with Muslims, absorbing nationalism and drowning in endless trolling in Muslim channels to numb their pain.they're frustrated and can't get sex.their lives are their punishments
Culture? If I or any community were preached to about how God will condemn me to eternal hellfire for virtually every pleasurable action 24/7 I too would develop this culture.
Watching the video, I can feel how pick up on some of that intensity you talked about. Thank you for authenticity and sincere opinions. I enjoyed watching this.
The mountains in Afghanistan are even more spectacular and unique when you do the actual hiking with your best buddies. I can never get enough of it. It’s an experience like no other. Hope your enjoyed your visit in Afghanistan, Chloe! Btw you nailed those head scarfs Chloe they were made for you 😊 New subscriber Afghan Australian
Hi Chloe, if you wear hijab in any more of your travels, you might have an easier time keeping the hijab in place with hijab magnets and, if you wear an undercap, you can attach the hijab to the undercap with wardrobe tape. These tools should make it easier to wear hijab if there's wind or if you're moving a lot.
Just now watching this video. U are really bold woman. So brave to travel Taliban country where they don't feel women as human. Happy watching your videos dear 🥰🥰
Thank you for sharing your experiences in Afghanistan! I really appreciate getting to see this side of the country through your travels. It’s a beautiful country.
Thanks for giving us a glimps inside of what Taliban’s Afghan is like. There are so many people simply side with the Taliban as long as they stand against the “west”, ignore every human rights just to prove their points. Truth is the Afghans are human as any of us and Afghan womans need to have their right respected as any of us.
Thank you for this hugely interesting video. It feels like a wonderful holiday present to your subscribers. I've been to Sudan, Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia and maybe one day Afghanistan. Your mode of travel is an inspiration.
Girl you are fearless . May G'd protect you on your journeys . It was nice to see Afgan and its people . I'm jewish American probably not the favorite of talibns so i will never go visit , but admire and love all of G'ds children. May humanity recognize the beauty divinity in diversity. While respecting history, a collective future and each other. I pray for peace ✌️

What a wonderful video, thank you for taking us along for the ride 🤍 Afghanistan looks like a beautiful place, hope you will have a chance to return if you so choose and best of luck on your next adventure!!
I'm so happy you did this video. I have seen other women on TH-cam with a lot of privilege painting afghanistan a certain way, ignoring the plight of actual afghany women.
My family went this year in October to Afghanistan for one month and women were allowed without man on the streets. And also there was girls going to school.
Depends what city and what age. Some places have school open for girls in elementary but not anything higher. Some places have school open for girls in university but no high school, etc. it’s complicated
I just watched the whole video, thank you so much! I can’t believe you shot a +1h long video by yourself! You’re voice is so important, and you taught me a lot about Afghanistan. Just subscribed, can’t wait to see what adventure you’ll embark on next :)
Thank you for showcasing the people and their hospitality and beauty. The beauty of the country. I loved my time there as a soldier helping the women in secret ❤
It’s very common in the market places for shopkeepers to rinse their glass of water or tea with water and throw it outside their shops, which in many cases land on someone walking outside. It has happened to me and I have see it happen to others. I don’t think it was because you were not covering your face.
My guide told me that was the reason so that’s why I said it. I had my face covered there earlier in the day and had switched my scarf so wasn’t covering face anymore and just forgot and he didn’t want to force me and didn’t realize I just forgot. Anyway. I hope that’s it. But there was snickering afterwards so that why we suspected it. Kandahar was different from the rest of what I experienced unfortunately.
yes, some parts are alot more strict and Kandahar is one of those places. But disrespecting a women in a verbal or physical way (in this case throwing water) would be considered a big crime. No one would even dare to do something like that deliberately of the fear of being harmed by the family of the women. A women is an honour in Afghanistan. I'm not saying that it didn't, maybe it did happen in your case. but I just wanted to point out that, it would be very unusual and risky for someone to do that to a random woman@@Chloejadetravels

What "women rights" and "human rights" were the Afghans enjoying before T4L1B@N took over during the two decades it was occupied by western countries? Thousands of children were molested, r*ped and starved to death by the US armies. Thousand of women were r4pěd and bombed. Are they facing any consequences for what they did? Prisoners were abused and tortured to death. How well were the women rights and human rights implemented for 20 years in the absence of t@l1bæn? The people who couldn't care less about Afghan people for such a long time now have so much to say about the "human rights violation" there under the TB. Bea: The ignorance and bigotry of the media baffles me. They despise the T4l1b@n rule so much yet they went completely silent during the two decades of immense destruction of the country by western countries
just because horrible things happened before doesnt mean we can say the TB is a good thing. you commented the exact comment before and I had to respond to it. No one is saying the occupation was good. The occupation ended and then TB took over. Which is super unfortunate. Imagine an elected governemnt of Afghanistan with equal rights for men and women! that is what they deserve. Not this horrific situation.
The inability of women to take which college course is most going to cripple Afghanistan and doom the country's future? 1. Organic chemistry - without this course, how will Afghan women get their chemistry degrees to work in the nonexistent industrial chem labs in Kandahar? 2. Applied Statistics - without this course, how will Afghan women be able to work at all the nonexistent consultancy firms in Kabul? 3. 16th Century French Literature - without this course, how will Afghan women appreciate 16th century French literature? 4. Intro to Linguistics - without this course, how will Afghan women look down upon the 99% of Afghan men who can't get a college degree because they are too busy doing the back breaking work of rebuilding the country? As you can see, all these college courses are so extremely critical and clearly an Islamic right for all women!
@@bea2739muslimah the fact you thought you did something with that comment.. how about if no women are going to university, who will become women's health doctors, who will best assist with pregnancy, childbirth and post partum care
Wow, this video was so insightful and powerful. Thank you for being so respectful to the Afghan people and of the political climate. It is so complex and I'm glad you gave it a nuanced perspective.
It is great to see that Afghans are able to rule their country by their own laws and not having to bend to Hypocritical terrorists who have a history of dropping Nuclear bombs on civillian areas and at the same time preach about war crimes and war crimes 😉
Then why people dont respect the laws in the west when they go to live there and go on the street to protest if something doesnt “sit well with them”? Their country their rules right? Difference is they atleast let you protest without fear of severe repercussions.
Putting unjust inhumane barbaric laws like those that the Taliban put do not resolve the acts of other terrorists. They’re just further destroying their people and enslaving them
Thank you for showing this. Was very well done. It's so beautiful there and the food looks wonderful. What sadness going on there. I just found your channel and I'm happy I did.
This is so inspiring, I've watched a few of your videos and you go to some of the most under appreciated places and they look amazing. I love watching you because you seem so generally respect of local traditions and customs while not allowing yourself to forget the harsh reality of these places. This particular one struck me because I'm fascinated by the countries of the old Silk Road and I would love to visit (I'd probably be too scared though). Thank you for showing us a snapshot of the culture and people of Afghanistan, and helping the world not forget about them❤
Correction: Zoroastrian people didn’t “come” there. Zoroastrianism was indigenous/native there. Zoroaster himself preached in those lands, under the king of Bactria. The Holy Scripture Avesta of Zoroastrianism describes these lands.
I just found your page today. My wife and I watched the Antarctica video first and then this one. I find your videos very informative and well made. I love the history and the buildings and views but find it very sad that women don't really have lives there. Very sad. Keep up the great work
Hey I just watched your video and it was so touching I really felt the moments especially the sadness in the air you mentioned. I slowly felt it and it's really heartbreaking to see these beautiful people suffer so much.

I have read many books regarding Afghanistan. I’m so happy you went! My dream is to mountain bike there and be the first female mountain biker on many of those mountains and passes. Maybe one day. I love my afghan friends and we are always thinking about you ❤
No one is complaining in Afghanistan, matter fact women are allowed out until late nights due to heavy security everywhere something the Afghan women didn’t have in the past 40 years. Certain Local buses are only allowed for women to make them comfortable during their journeys to school/work. Women can go anywhere without a male guardian except out of the city due to their safety as soldiers and security officers can’t not be placed in every single corner of the country. What western people don’t understand is that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Taliban) values women to an extent of royalty hence why they are extremely over-protective of the women which for an outsider may look like they are being “oppressive” because in the west women are treated like objects instead of a human. Afghans women are very confident now in the streets because they know that there’s always security nearby and we all know that no one dares to commit a crime especially when the government is Strict Sharia Law👍🏼
@@Chloejadetravels Nearly every Afghan family in Afghanistan is a TH-camr now and the females are out everyday for shopping and spending their time in the new attractions spread across the cities (daily watcher here😂👍🏼). You probably visited remote areas of Afghanistan where traditional systems are followed where women have less rights, these conservative traditions can be found anywhere even in the countryside of US. There are Business events held for Afghan women especially in the capital city where the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (Talibans) visits their functions and encourages them and thanks them for using the Afghan soil to benefit the country and its people. I do understand why you took a trip to “Afghanistan under TALIBAN rule” because it’s “interesting” and the climax really wasn’t what people thought it would be however you did add some spice to make the video look the way the foreigners want it to be. Numerous TH-camrs have visited Afghanistan in the past 2 years with some visiting 3-4 times a year such as @BlackmanDaTraveler and @WanderingEmma and none have documented what you have as everyone states “it’s like visiting Qatar or UAE but in the early days” Thank you🙏🏼

I went in 2022. I think they may have enacted a law in June 2023 that changed things. Here is where it was cultivated more: news.un.org/en/story/2022/11/1130057 But now it seems things changed: www.france24.com/en/live-news/20231212-myanmar-overtakes-afghanistan-as-world-s-biggest-opium-producer-un
That was absolutely incredible. Watching this made me feel like I was there with you lol. Thank you for such an amazing travel doc. On a side note, I was just so confused by the Taliban rules. Why do they hate women so much? Banning of all kinds of music? How they expect to have a functioning society where women aren't allowed anywhere not even to work to help support their families in a such a poor country? My heart breaks for the women of that beautiful country 💔
Because apparently God will punish women on the day of judgement and condemn them to eternal hellfire if they weren't modest enough on this planet and so the lesser chances of being seen by men, the more secure the path to Paradise after the day of judgement. Likewise for people listening to music because music tends to be more supportive of "immodesty".
It's so sad that the Afghan people cannot have things that we take for granted so often. Thank you for showing this.
yes unfortunately it is poorest country in the world . Hope they will do well in the future
At least they're not bombed by us air force

P.S: The bread looks sooooo delicious! Looking for Afghan recipes now! ❤
best afghan travel video i’ve seen yet, and i’ve seen a lot. than you, you’ve earned a new subscriber
Your vlogs feel like as if I am the one who is traveling even though i am sitting in my couch and chilling with your videos
I must say that you are one of the best travel channels on youtube
ahhh thank you so much 💜
You have the BEST channel for travel content. I don’t really watch travel content because of how cringey it can be but you are so respectful and insightful and give amazing real life perspective. Looking forward to seeing many more countries with you
thank you so much that means a lot
Well said! Especially Afghanistan videos are full of narcissistic and egoistic men boasting about their cool in such an absurd situation.
I totally wanted to see a longer version about your trip to Afghanistan. Thanks for this! I’m glad you made it back safely. My heart goes out to those people. I wish things were better over there. I learned a lot, though.
Afghanistan currently has the best security, there is no problem...
I have watched it twice! It’s so interesting and emotionally moving. I could feel the heaviness and sadness at times. I love that you added the QnA it really clarifies things and I really appreciate your heartfelt sharing. You are a very brave caring young woman and I love your videos so much!!!❤
so glad you were ok with the heater! thats exactly how my father passed away in afghanistan during the winter
. . . Marvellously enlightening and informative. Insightful.
So, it’s possible to travel to visit Afghanistan . . . Thank you Chloe Jade Travels.
It is definitely possible
Your Afghanistan video and edition is really one of the best travels you made. Because of its history, unique culture, and beautiful historical places.
this is a wonderful video, thank you! its my dream to visit every country in the world someday. thank you for being so kind and compassionate and showing us what its like
I'm glad you video with your voice soft and not annoyingly boisterous 😊
Thanks so much for watching w an open mind and heart ❤️
I really appreciate you making this video! Such raw and real content. Really informative
The mountains in Afghanistan are even more spectacular and unique when you do the actual hiking with your best buddies. I can never get enough of it. It’s an experience like no other.
Hope your enjoyed your visit in Afghanistan, Chloe! Btw you nailed those head scarfs Chloe they were made for you 😊

Thank you so much for your work! I teach Afghani students in the US and love learning more about their home. You are very courageous!
Thank you so much for sharing this and your debrief at the end. Also I so respect that you are donating proceeds of the video
Religion has an extremely important role to play as well
Just stay away from Afghanistan with your western idiocracy

Thank you for this hugely interesting video. It feels like a wonderful holiday present to your subscribers. I've been to Sudan, Zimbabwe, Saudi Arabia and maybe one day Afghanistan. Your mode of travel is an inspiration.
Super sad to watch, my heart goes to all women are there. Super scary you are brave
What do you mean by Jewish American ?
You are an American who practices Judaism ?
thank you for taking that risk and visiting this beautiful country for us!
Thank you for showing beautiful side of our Country
I’m so glad I found your channel. This is amazing. It is such a beautiful place, but so sad that the Taliban has control :(
😂😂😂🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
why is it sad
Yes so sad that your country can't terrorize the afgan people anymore. fking hypocrite western terrorist.😂
Taliban is whole afghanistan
You did such an amazing job with this video! Thanks for sharing your honest experience and respecting the local's privacy. I look forward to seeing more of your content. (:
What a wonderful video, thank you for taking us along for the ride 🤍 Afghanistan looks like a beautiful place, hope you will have a chance to return if you so choose and best of luck on your next adventure!!
I'm so happy you did this video. I have seen other women on TH-cam with a lot of privilege painting afghanistan a certain way, ignoring the plight of actual afghany women.
I really enjoyed following your journey and your truly objective approach to the afghan culture. It was refreshing to watch. Thank you!
I've never seen a travel video so good
Love your content.
Thank you so much :)
My family went this year in October to Afghanistan for one month and women were allowed without man on the streets. And also there was girls going to school.
Depends what city and what age. Some places have school open for girls in elementary but not anything higher. Some places have school open for girls in university but no high school, etc. it’s complicated
You are such an amazing journalist! Loved the long content! Great work!
She’s not a journalist. She just likes to act like one.
@@tiffanyregaudie3261 Why are you dissing her, she has said she is NOT a journalist but documenting here journeys, no need to be salty!!

I just watched the whole video, thank you so much! I can’t believe you shot a +1h long video by yourself! You’re voice is so important, and you taught me a lot about Afghanistan. Just subscribed, can’t wait to see what adventure you’ll embark on next :)
Wonderful video, I really loved the respect and grace you showed when speaking of this country and people. Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for showcasing the people and their hospitality and beauty. The beauty of the country. I loved my time there as a soldier helping the women in secret ❤
As an afghan, thank you. Made my day ❤
I watched through your entire video and do not regret it. Thank you for your hard work! 😊
Thank you so much for bringing us along on your travels in Afghanistan, and sharing your knowledge of history, art, culture, religions, and their diverse people. I appreciate and value how you respectfully explore and present your information and events in a cultural and spiritually respectful manner. Top tier documentary work. 👏 Thanks for sharing and letting us all armchair explore life, countries, and the world with you. ❤❤❤
@@bea2739muslimah this is literally the most idiotic comment. I’ve read. And you put so much time into it wow
@@bea2739muslimah the fact you thought you did something with that comment.. how about if no women are going to university, who will become women's health doctors, who will best assist with pregnancy, childbirth and post partum care

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences!
I really appreciate to be able to see the current Afghanistan through your lens :)
They sold their baby😢😢😢 that broke my heart. That poor little girl.
Wow, this video was so insightful and powerful. Thank you for being so respectful to the Afghan people and of the political climate. It is so complex and I'm glad you gave it a nuanced perspective.
I hope the Afghan women who owned the Ice cream shop is still save. I am worried for her💔
It is great to see that Afghans are able to rule their country by their own laws and not having to bend to Hypocritical terrorists who have a history of dropping Nuclear bombs on civillian areas and at the same time preach about war crimes and war crimes 😉
They’re just further destroying their people and enslaving them
❤
Thank you for showing this. Was very well done. It's so beautiful there and the food looks wonderful. What sadness going on there. I just found your channel and I'm happy I did.
This is so inspiring, I've watched a few of your videos and you go to some of the most under appreciated places and they look amazing. I love watching you because you seem so generally respect of local traditions and customs while not allowing yourself to forget the harsh reality of these places. This particular one struck me because I'm fascinated by the countries of the old Silk Road and I would love to visit (I'd probably be too scared though).
Thank you for showing us a snapshot of the culture and people of Afghanistan, and helping the world not forget about them❤
Wow. Amazing. Thank you for such a courageous trip to show this.
Very sad. Keep up the great work
Excited for this one ❤
Wow, that's so unfiltered and educational. Thank you for sharing your experience with others! It was very interesting to watch!
Hey I just watched your video and it was so touching I really felt the moments especially the sadness in the air you mentioned. I slowly felt it and it's really heartbreaking to see these beautiful people suffer so much.
What an educational video! I have learned a lot about things! Please keep doing long videos; they are more insightful. Thanks for your work and for showing us the world through your eyes!

You documented very well. The middle east is enchanting to me, despite the tension. Id love to see it one day.
it’s Asia, not middle east

It’s quite sad that woman don’t really have the right to do anything. It’s such a male dominant society
Unfortunately this isn’t Afghan style it’s just the new regime and changes
@@Chloejadetravels You are absolutely wrong sister

Opposite of what I experienced there.
Numerous TH-camrs have visited Afghanistan in the past 2 years with some visiting 3-4 times a year such as @BlackmanDaTraveler and @WanderingEmma and none have documented what you have as everyone states “it’s like visiting Qatar or UAE but in the early days” Thank you🙏🏼
Buying a child for when she gets her first period is SICKKKKKKKKKKK I hope things work in their favor and they get to escape before that moment comes to pass 😒
I love your videos! My goal is to travel the world. I love the middle eastern culture. The buddhas were fascinating, that you found them in Afghanistan. Don’t forget about the Afghan people !! :)

Could you kindly provide your source for the opium trade?
as far as i am aware its compeletly banned in Afghanistan
I went in 2022. I think they may have enacted a law in June 2023 that changed things. Here is where it was cultivated more: news.un.org/en/story/2022/11/1130057
But now it seems things changed: www.france24.com/en/live-news/20231212-myanmar-overtakes-afghanistan-as-world-s-biggest-opium-producer-un
Just because something is banned on paper (by law), doesn’t mean that it isn’t happening behind the scenes. There is organized crime in all countries.
Heartbreaking to see what the Taliban has done to Afghanistan. I pray for the people of Afghanistan ❤
That was absolutely incredible. Watching this made me feel
like I was there with you lol.
I admire you for your courage. You made a very interesting video. Thank you so much ❤
