if you can get a homestay with a sri lankan family with meals that is a great option beacuse sri lankan women a re good cooks making curries and it is cheap rather to stay in a hotel. good experience also

That whole experience looked totally awesome, wish I wasn't afraid to fly and could afford a trip like that or somewhere just as beautiful but now im poor on government funds due to becoming handicap from a motorcycle accident 9 years ago, lost the use of my left hand and wrist but thats doctor error because they put rods in my neck and back and pinched my C7 nerve and refuse to remove them and they're also saying they didn't make a mistake and thats not the issue but the MRI tells a different story. But im cool and safe enjoying the scenery through your eyes... Where we going next, lol
You're missing out on pretty much the whole country by travelling that fast. Your quest to visit every country in the world at that speed is a way to "claim" having been to all of them without having really been there and experienced it properly.

Tuskers Wasala and Walagamba, famous tourist attractions of Sri Lanka were killed by the same illegal electric fence at Tabbowa. Although Sri Lanka ranks high in hospitality, it is a country with a very low level of animal welfare. As a Sri Lankan, I say that all those who love animals should point out to the world that Sri Lanka is an unfit country for animals to live in. Because even though thousands of animal cruelty happens in this Buddhist country every day, there is no legal framework for them in Sri Lanka. Day by day the animal and forest population in Sri Lanka is increasing rapidly. Especially elephants and tuskers have become extinct due to human activities. But the law, government and responsible authorities are silent. Why were these illegal electric fences not caught and prosecuted before elephants were killed.Sri Lankan elephant is a unique sub species found only in Sri Lanka. They are the largest of Asian elephants. The elephant population stood at 5800 in 2011. Gestation period of an elephant is 23 months. Heres how elephants were killed in past few years ; 2023 - 433+ and counting 2022- 439 2021 - 375 2020 - 328 2019 - 407
