- The title says it, this is a long medley of all battle themes from Phantasy star I, II, III and IV.
16 tracks, 23 minutes. This is my biggest project yet! ( The video says 15 tracks, I miscounted. I'm not gonna remake a full video just for that, haha! )

Absolutely. Lots and lots of work, but I rushed it and I'm disappointed with the final result.
I may or may not currently be working on a much better (and slightly longer) version of this. But don't tell anyone, it's a secret!

Man....this was EPIC!!! Def took me on a trip back to my child hood. The transitions were so clean throughout the whole mix, it's mind blowing. Rise or Fall will always be my #1 with Laughter and Death Place coming in at #2 and #3.

This is... I'm not sure words exist to describe it. Amazing doesn't seem like enough. Taking all of these songs and making them WORK together is an impressive feat, and you pulled it off perfectly. And using PSIII Dark Force's theme as the ending? As much as I loved PSIII, that song is one I couldn't even REMEMBER. I was literally running through a mental list thinking 'okay, what's left for it to finish on?' And then it hit, and it made me remember actually fighting that battle... quite literally the first RPG final boss I'd ever faced. At the time, I thought it was one of the most epic fights I could've ever faced... and your remix captured that idea perfectly. The sheer weight of what Dark Force was, especially in that game...
Bravo. My only question is how are you going to top this... (just don't go crazy and try and remix the entire combined OST of the classic games or something like that, I don't think the world is ready for that kind of awesome)

I love this piece so much. I also appreciate your commentary throughout this mix so much. I love the idea of artists giving their thoughts and their opinions in their own creations.
To be fair, it makes the video much more involving to watch :) But sometimes, I'll admit it gets heavier on the creation side. But hey, when you love Phantasy star, you want everyone to know :D

Dude, the first transition from Defeat at a Blow to the Winning theme from PSIII is one of the smoothest things I have ever heard. So much of this is awesome!!
I also really love how Death Place feels triumphant in some spots. For a theme that always plays in the group’s darkest moments, it’s nice to hear such a happy modulation.

Great job on the PS2 mixes. I really liked the new variations on Death Place in particular. Unfortunately having never played the other games, I can't comment on the rest. Yeah yeah, never too late, etc.

I don't, but I was often suggested to make one. I was asked to remaster all Phantasy Star 4 songs and to consequently make such a donation thingy so people would encourage me. I guess I should learn how to do it.

ps3 is a wierd game... it really aught to be thought of as a stand alone spin off...
they basically handed phantasy star to the golden axe team who had no idea what do make of it... and the game really sticks out... compared to the other 3 games
