baten kaitos is a thing really, the ost is insane, I've never played it and I still have chills when hearing the theme
Most of these songs are permanently burned into my brain from hours of grinding. Not that that's totally a bad thing...

Oh you noticed this, I wanted to had songs of Ys8 (what a wonderful game) however there is no real batttle theme ... Maybe you will enjoy the volume 2 with legend of heroes :p

@@yxXRayXxy It has great gameplay and graphics but story wise it is quite underwhelming. I enjoyed it a lot though, also it is available on PC.

Thank you for this, though I wonder I you didn't used the original NES version of Final Fantasy I battle theme and went on to the version of the remake
This video came out at 2019 and most of the choice here are OST under 2008 which I found pretty bad because there are also lots of good JRPG music these days
I see your point, I just don't know them as much as I know the olds ones. I have seconde video in preparation though most focused on more recent games!
