    Yamaha R3 is a motorcycle with a starting price of Rs 4.66 Lakh. It is available in India in 1 variant and 2 colours with high end variant price starting from Rs 4.66 Lakh. R3 is powered by a 321 ccbs6-2.0 engine which develops a power of 42 PS and a torque of 29.5 Nm. It has Disc front brakes and Disc rear brakes. The weight of Yamaha R3 is 169 kg and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 14 l.

    Design
    The R3 comes with an aggressive supersport design with a full fairing. The bike incorporates a lot of design elements from Yamaha’s higher capacity motorcycles like the R1 which makes it look like a proper supersport.
    Price
    The R3 comes at a price of Rs 4,64,900 (ex-showroom Delhi) and is offered in 2 colour schemes: Icon Black and Yamaha Black. The bike is currently imported from Indonesia.
    Features
    Coming to features, the instrument console on the MT-03 is a LCD unit that displays speed, revs, time and tripmeters. The bike doesn’t come with smartphone connectivity or turn-by-turn navigation, which even smaller capacity bikes have. There are no electronic aids apart from the dual-channel ABS. The lighting system is all-LED with the headlight being a split LED unit.
    Engine
    Powering the R3 is a 321cc liquid-cooled, twin cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox and produces 42PS at 10750 rpm and 29.5Nm at 9000rpm. It does not get an assist and slipper clutch, which even the Yamaha R15 gets. There’s no traction control or any other electronic aid either (except for the dual-channel ABS).
    Suspension, Brakes & Other Details
    The R3 is built on a diamond frame and is suspended on a 37mm inverted fork at front with 130mm wheel travel and a monoshock at the rear with 125mm wheel travel. Braking duties are handled by 298mm disc at front and 220mm disc at the rear with dual channel ABS as standard.The Bike comes with a 14-litre fuel tank and kerb weight(wet) of 169kg. Ground clearnce stands at 160mm and seat height is 780mm.
    Rivals
    In terms of rivals, the R3 goes up against the Kawasaki Ninja 400, KTM RC 390 and the new Aprilia RS 457.

    I don't know why people make top speed content on a new bike by doing this you are decreasing the life of engine

      For those who think that if the bike reaches its top speed, the engine life is decreasing, they are simply mistaken because those engines are high-revving engines. And performance-oriented engines, in Hindi, we say, "Jab tak bike rava nahi hogi, tab tak khulegi nahi aur smooth nahi hogi." So, don't educate people with a false message. Thank you so much.

      @@Motomagnet23 The main reason manufacturers advice to ride at lower speed during the first 500- 800kms for any new bikes is because all the components in your engine are newly fitted and are not exposed to the stress and strain they experience while on continuous working. And Sudden changes for the parts may tend to early failure. By the way be safe and keep riding
