This is the thing about these bikes..one manufacturer is selling a single cylinder with considerably less price while other is selling a twin at higher price..both of which have almost similar performance..then why would someone wanna go for the expensive one even though it is a superior bike overall..R3 lacks value proportionally to Duke

2nd January ko 25k rs diya Kolkata m ek dealer ko. Abhi main Pune m hoon. Abhi tak delivery date confirm nahi kadh raha hain R3 ka. Ph kadhne padh bol raha hain, abhi tak koi news nahi hain, ayega toh call kadh dega.
Duke 390 is a single cylinder naked and that's failing only coz it's too speed is cut off at 160+ by the company. R3 is a parallel twin supersport which is a great bike too, comparing these 2 are not on par. Compare as per price index. R3 vs Aprilia457 -> both are supersport and parallel twin above all price is more or less similar.
