r3 is a good bike but considering its engine capacity, brakes, design and overall build quality it is overpriced by more than 1 lacs. it should be priced at on road around 4.4 lacs then it makes a sense otherwise aprillia rs 457 is better anyday by any means....

The meter is pretty accurate and the reason behind it is stock tyre profiles…that is 140/70 kmph. People often upsize tyre profile which results in early rev limiter as the sprocket is directly calibrated to the speedometer.

All the Japanese bikes have speedometer errors of 5-7kmph let it be Honda or Yamaha, Suzuki has slightly more speedo error tho but still it's a known fact most of the manufacturers produces bikes with Speedo error for a safety reason. I don't see a reason why you're mocking him if you don't know this simple motorcycle fact.

Best thing about R3 is that you can install R15 V4 quickshifter and it is direct plug and play. Costs only 6k (including installation).
