This game would be 10000000x better if after you beat the game, you could then take your ship that you've built up and take it into the open seas of the on line world, and challenge other players ships, with better on line upgrades to make your ship the best of the seas really missed an opportunity with this one
Captain Ah Vong Actually I'm pretty sure it's unlocked after beeting the one legendary ship with an actual ram on it. I played the game and I have taken on every legendary ship
This game developed so much the perfect battleship system that Ubisoft could have just made an entire game based in these mechanics, just imagine a battle at sea between you and a player with your ships, and then invading it yourself, well, Ubisoft would have to design a new system of PvP that worked for that, but if it was just ships it would be awesome aswell.
So much different than ACR ship battles. Your side cannons fire off like machine guns. Simular to the tiny gun boats. The barrel drops, vs oil spill fires - some disadvantage there, vs when I attack a Man O War, I do the Ice breaker ramming it, to staying glued along side & flame it till its charcoal, never firing a mortar. And sometimes I've run out of mortar ammo prior to attack, thinking I'll make it back to port for more ammo, before being forced to survive, on my floating toothpicks of shrapnel. Cheers,, good show.
The one thing I want more than anything in assassin's Creed Black flag is to control a huge ass man o war ship that would have been the best thing to ever have happened inside the game is to control one instead of staying with the same ship that you have unless you cannot four columns of cannons on the side or 3 on the side make your ship look bigger and stronger
I played Rogue before Black Flack and had a much easier time as a result. First things I got were Mortar and heavy shot upgrades from the beginning (they are your best friends). One thing I liked better in Rogue than Black Flag was the swivel gun. It was way more fun to use that the one in Black Flag to me, though I did find the naval combat as a whole more fun in Black flag do to the environmental affects like storms and waves happening alot more. Plus I found the map more graphically appealing.
Black Flag is my fave but I actually preferred the naval combat in AC3. Something about it seemed more hazardous...and I liked being able to manually control the swivel gun - you could use it to target anything you wanted instead of only specific weak points.
I always wondered can I board a ship without battle, like just going in water and swimming and climbing on it and boarding it, I never tried that, please answer if you think that's possible.
I love ac black flag but I wish you weren't limited to: A. The single ship you sail around on (i.e. when you capture a ship choosing whether or not you want to transfer command to the captured ship as your new flagship) B. the name of the ship (i.e. i'd like to be able to rename my ships)
That would also have been more historically accurate as in those times if a pirate came across a better ship, they would just upgrade. Also, there are instances of people renaming their flag ships such as the royal fortune which is actually the name of three ships! All captured by black Bart otherwise known as Bartholomew Roberts.
So I just got this game on switch, my first playthrough, and I'm loving it. Naturally I'm looking through the occasional tips videos here and there. As I watch your video it took a few seconds before I realized that your crew is the undead. Is this a mod, or somehow something that you can get in game?
It's a cheat, if you do a certain number of challenges, air assassinate 5 guards, perform 10 double kills, etc. you gain some progress towards obtaining cheats, the undead crew being one of them, however, if you choose to play with cheats, you will not be able to save, so i don't recommend doing a mission with cheats on unless you're replaying it for fun.
Such potential with this game they totally abandoned. Perfect pirate game to build onto and upgrade with modern tech, and of course they totally ignored that and gave us skull and bones
It’s amazing that after all these years and all these Assassins Creeds trying to imitate AC Black Flag thee’s yet not a single one the came even close to the intensity of sea battle in this game.
I remember my epic 3rd party ship battle and a tsunami is heading to the battle area so I ram my ship to enemy ship forcing it to be side ways to tsunami and course a lot of damage

The only thing i don't like in Black Flag - is due swords. They animations just looks raw and unfinished. This is why i don't use them at all.
