Played Resto properly a long time ago and decided to start levelling one again recently. This video was amazing. Can't wait to start doing challenging content when it's capped. This video was perfect to introduce me to changes and how they play now.
One note that wouldve been important for me is the "main purpose" for rejuv: It functions as the perfect swiftmend consumer and can save lives instantly. So dont throw away the button, but see it more as the perfect consumer for your swiftmend. In hard dmg income situations you can cast rejuv into insta swiftmend to top a player. Thats why rejuv is still very important to me^^

I think the perfect general theme for advanced druid guide would be gcd efficiency. Maybe talk about healing given damage profiles in m+. How to maintenance verdancy heal, how to ramp up with photosynthesis for damage that comes on a timer but is thrown on a random person (goliath, drown shield in throne), how to heal short bursts of damage. And the most important thing: how to stay gcd efficient in switch your healing profiles back and forth so you have time to deal that sweet dam. Maybe finish the vid with some tips and tricks on healing the weird damage patterns (2nd and 3rd bosses in EB, Manifested Timeways etc). P.S. I've been on dxm's stream a while back, he was bombarded with questions about verdancy, ppl actually have no idea how it works and are very surprised by the amount it heals when used properly.

Is Incarnation also good instead of convoke in m+? when heavy dmg is coming and u dont have a good setup, incarnation seems pretty good. Or is it bad and not recommended?

go to wclogs, dungeons/raid, click rankings for the dungeon/boss you want to see, then click all classes and choose ur spec, then open the show more tab and itll show you the % of ppl that take each talent
Would you suggest going for skull bash or thick hide in 24+ keys though? I see top healers never taking the interrupt, though it's really good in pugs with no communication. What would be best practice if aiming for 26-27s, considering rdruid has a pretty low hp pool and defensive cds with lower %dr like barkskin and ironbark?
Personally I think going skull bash and getting used to using your interrupt is going to be the highest success rate in pug keys at almost any level. There would be some exceptions like prot pally double melee comps with lots of kicks, or a week like sanguine where its probably more impactful to go for typhoon.
If pushing higher keys, with the dmg going out and you doing dmg becoming more impactful combined with how slow and awkward, not to mention expensive in points skull bash is I would not recommend speccing it. You can shine on a semi bad lvl 24 or so group by getting it on something important, but higher than that your group has to be better, and you have to prioritize higher value points and globals. Playing skull bash is too sub-optimal for high keys imo. Long story short, for 24 and down go for it, it may save a bad pug. Going higher you need to be playing progressively more optimally and so does your group.

Hey Growl, great video. I recently returned to the game and am rolling a healer for the first time. I've been struggling with doing dps as Druid and people keep telling me that healers need good dps. This is hard since I like running Tree of Life in general and have a hard time reacting while being in catform. Any advice?
Is the added Regrowth healing that much stronger than the added Wild Growth healing with how much party damage bosses do? The extra Wild Growth healing seems like it would be really powerful.
Generally stronger ST healing is better, because most of the death points are one person with a heavy dot and then aoe happens. If you cant survive the aoe at 100% more healing isnt gonna help. And generally after huge aoe theres time to top everyone up slowly or one persona thats targeted needs to be topped very quickly
Since my group is not too coordinated on keys 20 i don't really have time to do damage. So I'm focused more on healing. Even with twice as much mastery as other druids, I sometimes fail to heal. I have 22% mastery and 19% vers. Would it help me to increase versatility and lower mastery since versatility also increases healing
He is using Vuhdo Frames. Would not recommend that crap. If you want more then 3 HoT's in the default UI, setup BigDebuffs (this also extends the amount of visible HoT's).
Vuhdo or Grid2. Highly recommend one of therm if you're playing resto. Grid is much easier to set up but they both take some management. You can just import profiles from the resto guides on icy veins/wowhead/questionably epic though.
After having healed with Preservation and Mistweaver this expansion I can say that druid healing is probably the most underwhelming in terms of engaging gameplay for me...
Great guide, but whoever thought Efflorescence was a good thing to have been made to work in M+ must be mentally ill or disconnected to reality, most people don't give an f standing in it making the related talents basically useless and even more so with how much movement it is needed which causes you to have to move it thus wasting CGDs and Mana for no good reason as you play chase with other players, that's all for pugs at least, as this aspect of the class proves once again how the game is designed around the top % players once again and in the most uninteresting and annoying ways.
4:30 correction: the druid class tree is one of the simplest trees in the game, giving you all the utility you want basically automatically with zero sacrifice needed.
Why would i resto? MW is basically the same but better. Other resto has better output delivery. Disc has better output for less effort. Imagine having a spell thats been so integral to the spec for over a decade. Now we don't use it at all as its not "efficient". This really sums up Blizzards current dev pool.
You know this is not from a current RDruid main at the point where he tries to tell you about Trinket and Embelishment options... Trinkets are mostly trash this season. Same goes for Embelishments.

I really like Incarnation, Convoke is heavily nerfed anyways, when shit happens it can help a lot to bring people up, nourish from trees heal a lot.

It's def kind of weird not using Rejuv as frequently as one would think. I normally just keep it on the tank and that's about it.

it would increase your survivability slightly, but it would be less healing overall.
How do you best get more than 3 HoTs on your raid frames? I have tried reworking my UI a few times but its so hard, Im too used to the default one.
