Glenn Frey was a horse's ass. No amount of talent will overcome Glenn's treatment of the other members of Eagles. Bernie Leadon, GONE. Randy Meisner, GONE. Don Felder, GONE. Well, Glenn now you are GONE. Adios jack-ass, enjoy your karma in the afterlife.
This was one of my favorite songs of 1982. Unfortunately, this is not the original version
Glenn was a member of the legendary Eagles.
He was the leader along with Don Henley in that group.

I saw Glenn Frey play his last concert with The Eagles at the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City, LA on July 29, 2015 just months before his untimely death. His voice was a national treasure.

RIP Glenn! Musical legends like Glenn Frye make us sad that he is gone, but his legacy with the Eagles makes us so very happy that he was there as long as he was. The Eagles will live forever!
I love Glenn Frey. Songs like True Love, Smugglers Blues, You belong to the city and the heat is on.
Not to mention the numerous songs he released with The Eagles like Hotel California.
Oh, dear. Not Glenn Frey’s version. Please change your title. Glenn’s version and voice blows this out of the water.
Arrangement is pretty much the same, but the sax tone and the voice are totally different from the original.

Here's a guy that didn't stop writing and performing after he left the Eagles. It shows how much talent he really had. I loved the albums he did on his own.
India, I HIGHLY recommend you listen to some of Glenn's main band, the Eagles. In my opinion, they are one of the best bands of all time. And as much as I'd love to watch you react to some Eagles songs, I can almost guarantee that each one of them would get blocked.
I think you meant to say "I can guarantee that each one of them would get blocked"-lol.The boneheaded singer,(Don Henley),of which Glenn came from,The Eagles,IS one of the reasons why alot of not only their songs,but from other big artists as well,get blocked from reactioners' sites.He wants to nickle & dime them from their catalog of music while still having a quarter of a Billion dollars in his bank account.If you're an 'artist' set out to make art or music,i would think you'd want that out for everyone to hear or to experience..rather than to just collect a check..maybe that's me.ALSO you would stand to gain more listeners,more revenue for yourself,if you were to share..rather than block someone from that opportunity.

This is Glenn Frey's version off his first solo effort "No Fun Allowed". It also had one other song that charted that was a cover of "Sea Cruise". His sophomore solo effort faired much better and "Smuggler's Blues" charted on Billboard's Hot One Hundred. Oddly,this video lead to acting roles on "Miami Vice" and even a small supporting role in "Jerry Maguire".
Oh, those days of smooth! I miss them.

I grew up with my dad listening to a lot of classic rock and adult contemporary, so I take some of these songs for granted at 42 years old...but it's these reaction videos that allow me to pause and actually appreciate the lyrics and musicianship, so that's for that!

Glen Frey was a member of the great 1970s band, The Eagles. This is one of his best solo songs.

Dang, I love Glenn Frey! Had an excellent live album, called, of all things "Glenn Frey Live". All the hits and some cool covers. Put his careers together (he did some acting), we get music and Miami Vice, and the video for "Smuggler's Blues". Epic!

this sounds like a cover - not Glenn Fry. His version has more prominent keyboards and his voice is smoother in the original recording. An outstanding song.

Something sounds a little off about this version...but Glenn is great! Definitely wish I could have seen him when I finally got to live out my dream of seeing The Eagles live. I cried in the middle of Walmart when I saw that he had passed. One of my faves for sure. A couple other songs by him you should react to are “You Belong To The City,” and “The Heat Is On.” 🙌💯❤️
I have listened to the original many many times and this one sounds like it's a little slow or dragging a bit. Hope you find the right one to listen to as it is so much better.

Like so many have said. That's not the real Glenn. The track has a midi sax on it. His voice is weird. When you hear the original Glenn and real sax it will make u smile even more.

@Doug Johnson Yeah I'm sure. The 'sax' at the beginning is a keyboard mimicking a sax. That was the first thing that struck me. And while the singer does a nice job of sounding similar to Glenn, it's definitely not Glenn singing. Cheers!
