The American expansion section of this video still applies perfectly.

The American and MWC videos may still be relevant in the not so distant future with how things are trending right now

I am sure it is a great video. Going to watch for the what is. Can't wait for your Colorado to Big 12 video!

The Pac-12 should have seen this and then said "Hey Apple we're actually worth $33.3 million a school".

This video broke the news to me that Colorado is leaving, so thanks for the update 😂😂

Can you make a Colorado to the Big 12 video now that it is official?

By Sunday night for sure. 8-5 job makes it hard to create all the slides needed during the week.

Army, UMASS, and UCONN should form their own football conference. While Temple and Navy should join based on reduced travel. They can call up other schools such as Delaware and New Hampshire, while adding Vermont for basketball. Other potential schools could be Buffalo and Ohio.

thanks for taking my idea (i think) can't wait to see what the Big XII does next to get to 14 since Yormark said he'd like to permanently be at 14 by 2025... does the PAC survive? We'll see soon enough

Nice evaluations. Always interesting to see how these schools stack up without using fan hype as the main factor. I feel the AAC probably needs a school in the eastern area more than the west. And the MWC....i feel that they should really stock the shelves this time....with UTEP, NMSU and UC Davis. If they ever plan on having inventory for a network to shell out the big bucks....they need schools in their footprint.

Both the MWC & MAC need to go to 14. It helps protect them in case they get raided.
For the MWC, I'd add UC Davis as full member. D1 360 talked about possibility of Pac 12 taking them ahead of a current member. Dude the Pac 12 will probably look down on UC Davis too. And I'd add Tarleton, Texas St as members for presence in Texas. Add Grand Canyon as non-FB school.
Meanwhile if I'm the MAC, I'd look into seeing if Liberty or W. Kentucky might be interested. If not add a couple of school from the Subdivision: Missouri St, etc.

Absolutely outstanding! There is much in this that is relevant to the future once the "leadership" of the Pac-12 finds its head and places it back on its shoulders.

Could you do a video on if the pac 12 took Byu and Utah back in 2011?

For the MWC Expansion portion, what if you factor in the Honolulu MSA? A lot of sources that talk about what the MWC should do if SDSU leaves seem to overlook the fact that Hawaii is a football-only member, and they play all their other sports in the Big West.
I'm willing to bet that Hawaii would be the #1 candidate for full-membership and then UTEP and Texas State would get the call-up next.

Hawaii (going full) and UC Davis to the MWC would be huge but I guess we'll never know also if the AAC brought Army-Navy in house it would be huge football only as Army would probably not go full into the AAC and stay in the Patriot League for everything else.

Another great detailed video by D1 360.
My only question on Army to the AAC is more than likely they'd be FB-only ala Navy. So the league would have to add a non-FB school. I'm not sure the league wants to add another non-FB school. But if so who would be your top choices? Or would they just stay at 13?
Totally off topic: Do you think Bellarmine joins the Horizon? And does Queens (NC) leave the ASUN for the Big South?

    • @d1_360
      @d1_360  ปีที่แล้ว +3

Queens to Big South is a shoo-in, IMO. I imagine the Big South is only waiting on their transition to expire. All those schools want to be present in Charlotte.
I thought Bellarmine would join the Horizon for sure and am surprised there's been no smoke around it. Perhaps, Bellarmines prioritizes a Southern focus.

@d1_360 If Bellarmine prioritizes a southern focus. Maybe the OVC should give them a call lol.
Great content as always. Can't wait for your Pac-12 videos

I believe Bellarmine has one more year in their transition to D1. I would think if they don’t move after 23-24 they may intend on staying in the ASun for awhile. I know ~10 years ago, the Horizon waited to add NKU until their transition completed.
