my favourite rally cars to drive are the rwd mid engine group b cars (bmw m1, lancia). so easy to rotate, simply lovely.
The Manta 400 handles beautifully, but unfortunately it cannot compete with the other cars in its class... a top tier run in it gives you an average time with the Lancia.
@@iseslc yeah I get what you mean. It doesn’t feel particularly fast
Yess driving with H pattern and clutch is the best feeling in rally games, especially when you get that heel and toe on point!
I find the RW the hardest to drive
You’ve handled this great 👍🏻
Dirt 2 is the best
@@fixturesman76 it is deffo a challenge!
Thank you appreciate it
Nice to see you driving for fun and picking the settings that will allow you to do that best.
Might you try EA WRC, Ford Escort Mk 2, Rally Portugal, manual H-pattern?
Can give it a go mate, thanks for watching
I suggest you should increse the sensitivity of the clutch that would solve missing some gears and also about setting records if you are used to the manual gearbox than you should have no problem because I do pretty good stages on wrc(best is 15place In Latvian stage with group A all other latvia stages top 100) and also on dirt 2( average about 150place in the daily challenges) considering my set up (Logitech g27 with mods and a Microsoft flight stick handbrake)
i see your point but h pattern shifter feel absolutely nothing like a real car same goes for a clutch it makes the game feel worse and like a toy
@@NAVX3 your not wrong mate, if you could feeing biting point etc in game it would be great. I prefer sequential in game but for purists H pattern they expect to see
I still learned how to heal toe downshift and left foot break in real life in my 1500 dollar 2001 civic ex 5 speed beater through first learning in sim racing. The sim got the general motions and muscle memory down and didn’t take long in real life to figure out the rest and make adjustments cause yes real life does take more precise foot work. Sims will teach you the basic fundamental muscle memory needed without risking your real car. Even with a g29/pedal, that was my first wheel setup
