I like this song, however I think "How Do You Do" is a much better song for this area (I really dislike area music that has vocals). What do you all think?
I too hate the vocal music at the front part where the former instrumental "How Do Yu Do" was. Plus it doesn't sound like Frontierland in WDW. The only instrumental "Alomst There" we where after the big splahdown. So I agreed.
I KNEW IT! They did change up the music to sound more Frontier and I love that! I first noticed after the second lift hill that almost there was alot more calming with more guitars and strum of banjo sound to fit the gentle river flow around (Splash Mountain) and then I noticed when you go inside, Going Down Bayou sounds alot more Frontier then the movie version. Then you flow down the river and hear the springs you would hear on the Brer Rabbits version and the Banjos playing softly until the Dig song. - And at the end theres a combination of Harmicas and Guitars with New Orleans Jazz so while the New Orleans music plays it mixed with the Frontierland vibe And now seeing this i can see i was right all along 1. I dont like the ride because its to much cluder with robots together and then wide open space of trees and screens. 2. The virtual queue is REALLY pissing me off for a log flume ride
And confusing, too. Imagine how the Princess and teh Frog music would sound in bluegrass to fit the Frontieland like they did to Soung of the South. If that attraction's kept, that peice of land would change to the Bayou Land.
This clashes so badly with the bouncy bluegrass/country music of Frontierland. It's also really lazy how they just ripped the songs straight from the movie without changing them to fit the context of the ride's story, like Splash Mountain did. I thought Ray was supposed to be dead? Don't think I didn't notice his vocals in Goin' Down the Bayou, Disney...
I’m one of the majority who believes songs with vocals don’t work in attractions queues but idk … this song actually fits in the context of Disneyland’s best over WDW? Great song overall, but I definitely would’ve tried to make the entire attraction/music fit into the vibes of Frontierland best with a more bluegrass country vibe.
I can’t wait to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure when I go 1st week of December 2024!!!!! So cool it’s opening on the 1st day of the Holiday season on November 15th!!

Ngl the majority of the soundtrack is pretty bad, the finale though is very good, and glad they got original music for it. Some of the music just doesn't fit like Almost There just feels so off.
I agree. Most of the music in the ride where you hear singing, you don't see anyone singing it. Story wise, Almost There is just being played the void, same with this one and Dig a Little Deeper. You hear singing but don't see any singers. Very weird choices. Should've been instrumental or had the animatronics sing. Very very poor audio choices with this ride and it feels rushed.
@@DisneylandMusician I mean other problems include the lack of tension, and emptiness in some parts. Since DIsneyland's track is smaller, it probably won't be as empty.

The soundtrack is the biggest disappointment. I thought that was the one thing they’d surely get right. Guess I was wrong 😅. I’m with you though on enjoying the finale song at least. It’s not Zip, but it’s good on its own.
Seems lazy that they just took the movie music and pasted it in the ride instead of creating a brand new composition. Also, what a does a song about the city of New Orleans have to do with this salt mine bayou we’ve entered?

The music of this attraction just lacks anything. And using actual movie music as a music loop is just lazy.
