Eric Lugo Hopefully you are blessed enough to find a similar one in the near future. It sucks having to sell a bike you love,or even worse,if it's stolen.
The best thing that has happened today.. this quad is sick! Glad to watch from the beginning to the end. You deserve every bit man! Keep up the amazing work
unbelievable your work. and all the work after the camera is off is as impressive!! Lots of people have NO idea how much work there is when the camera is off. MS you rock.
250R is definitely my favorite quad.wish I had of kept mine but didn't have the money to fix it and was in a rough spot at the time smdh.but this bike here is definitely one of the nicest ones I've seen.great job man.
U know it’s fast when he shifts threw all 6 gears only at quarter throttle and is doing about 30-40 mph now can’t wait to see that thing wide open gonna sound so great
Over 2000 years Aristotle stated that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. This gem of a build is proof of that. This is your finest work yet Mike. As I said before, it would be at home in an art gallery. I hope some billionaire comes along and offers to buy it for his permanent collection. Outstanding job, Michael.
dude that bike is fire!!!! I sold my 88 like 10 years ago and to this day I regret it! I've been wanting another one so bad you videos of yours confirms it.
That quad is amazing and I love the color, definitely a 10/10 build. The only thing that I would change is the air filter, I would put a foam pod filter that's been heavily oiled with a prefilter, just a suggestion from a dirt bike mechanic, it'll save that beautiful engine in the long run. Also change the filter after every ride! 👍
Dude this is the baddest quad I've ever seen. You have a great eye for perfection. I've been watching for a year or so and this build makes me so pumped up lol. You will never see another 250r like this thumbs up👍
Man, I thought it looked bad ass without the graffix and hood on it until I seen the hood and graffix on it. Made it look completely different for the better. Sweet ass build dude.
I wanted to say hello from S.D. I'm glad your out there building this and others alike, makes it all worth it to see such a fine hand not missing a beat. I myself hold similar qualities and people think I'm a little overboard for it, but in the end only types like you could ever end up with what you created. You my friend are indeed a purveyor of quality. Congratulations on bringing this project to fruition. My hats off to you. D.r.B Peace brother
Just finished watching all 30+ videos on this build and it makes me want to do mine now 😂 love the attention to detail and the colour scheme is perfect, not one everyone would think about but works so perfect with what you have planned for this quad. Looking forward to continuing following all of your builds from now on seeing as I just recently got into quads here in jolly old 🏴 ✌️
I’m so glad I discovered this channel dude, you are the best off road channel. Love how you explain everything in terms we can understand. Love watching your videos, cheers 🥂
Awesome,Awesome job Mike!! 👏🏽 This will be the best quad you will ever own!! TRX250R, “R” stands for Rules!! 👍🏼 HRC 🟥⬜️🟦🇺🇸. Enjoy your weekend riding! You should consider removing your push button kill switch, you might accidentally hit it when riding on track.( bumps and jumps). 🤙🏽✌🏼
Well done man, I bought an old school 1990 FL400 Honda pilot (the original side×side) for $300. Seized motor but kept in climate controlled garage for last 20yrs. If I don't go nuts on rebuild I might complete a flip instead of just aquiring another toy..
The stress marks on the rear fenders can be fixed with a little heat, from a heat gun. The heat will remove most of the white looking stress marks. I use this method a lot on automotive interior plastic parts.
Bro you are the MAN!!!! It's BadAss.....you did a fantastic job lining up the plastics, the hood looks awesome on the sand color fenders. I could go on for days about this build, you should be very proud and happy, that is a top notch build, people are gonna go nuts at the dunes, be careful out there and let it rip. Hopefully you get some video of some rooster tails with the paddles...Sweet quad so nice.👍🇺🇸👍
I just put the finishing touches on my banshee frame up restoration this week too!! I work Saturday but I will be at Silver Lake Sunday! I neeeeeeeed pics of my project next to this 250
I can only imagine your pain. I just got a Maier Raptor 350 hood in the mail today and it just doesn't fit right. It's only one piece Maier, what the hell? I just gotta keep my 6 feet social distance so it looks good. Lol. It's looking nice man. Incredible build. Thanks for the video.
WOW! Outstanding Dude! Awesome job! I really appreciate all the attention to detail that you put into this and all your builds! The attention to detail shows in the video editing and the kick ass music as well. I can see how stoked you are about getting to ride it. Have fun! 🤘👍
Take a heat gun to the stress line in the plastic and it we’ll melt shiny again and when it drys they are gone !! Just get it hot enough but not to hot lol
You can use a little heat on those stress marks in that plastic to change the color back to what it was. You could also use a heat gun and lots of patience and reform those plastics to line up with the nerf bars better.
This has been a awesome series to watch.you guys in the US are so lucky to have access to all those amazing parts and Accessories. I live off the coast of New Zealand Chatham Islands and have a 86 250r and a Honda 450r and have fitted a yz250 engine in it.I just love your videos and will be watching more
Are you from Michigan as well!!?? If not you’re still going to absolutely love Silver regardless!! Its of my favorite places in Michigan. The views, the environment and the vibes you get there with your buddies are second to none. Too bad I’m going again at the end of August and not this weekend!! Would have been awesome to run into you
You're gonna have it epic time bro! I'm so excited for you I can't wait for you to go riding on the sand dunes for your first time on a 250 R!!! I've been riding dunes my whole life I think there the funnest place to ride still after living all over the country in riding every type of terrain dunes are still my favorite and that's why I moved to the Oregon coast so I could live at the dunes. Gonna have a blast bro I am really excited to see you rip it out there!!!!!!! You're gonna have such a fun time!!! Sand is all about momentum so so just stay in it will you going up anything and remember when you get to some whooped out sections lean back with your butt up off the seat so that the quad move under you relatively freely and so your front end of the light in stays out of the dips between the whoops while you're staying in the power band moving across the top of that whoops. That's faster and less painful in my humble opinion to hit the whoop sections that way, peace bro go have fun!!!!!!! P.S. Hope my explanation of how to ride a whoop section make sense! Lol
P.P.S. Oh and always kind of look far ahead so you know who's in your area and who's around where you're riding so you don't unexpectedly running to someone else at the crest of a dune when y'all are both going over in different directions it happens all the time here when Dunefest rolls through and that's the cause of most of the hospital trips so if you can avoid that one thing by just staying aware of where other people are around you, you gonna be alright.
The warning stickers part gottt me lmao
sameeee haah
Had to trim my rear fenders where they overlap. Maier shouldn’t be charging $600+ for a set of fenders if this is what they are like
exact reason why I only buy good condition used plastics
RJIVHalo ikr
Maier chargers crazy money for re pop bullshit that hardly fits for vintage stuff if it fit top notch from the jump cool but not my experiance
Got me fucked up that price they better fix it this reason I will pay extra for oem some where
Spend all time to put plastic are not right it like re storing a classic car then rattle can a paint job.
Mikes channel is the best. He breaks down every step so the viewer's can be part of the builds. Thanks mike, keep em coming
That quad should certainly be in like dirt wheels or some cool magazine!
Ride that damn thing Mike. You don't need plastics 🤣🤷🏼♂️👊🏻
Plastic is least of the worry the worry is that it runs and Rides
Just the fact of what he was saying about the warning stickers and about the mask, instant subscribe!!
Dude, made me cry when u took it down the street! 😂 Beautiful!!!! I had an ‘88 250r and I miss it every day. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸👍🏼
Eric Lugo Hopefully you are blessed enough to find a similar one in the near future. It sucks having to sell a bike you love,or even worse,if it's stolen.
Should have brought it out to the ATV National at Redbud this weekend. They ran a vintage 2 stroke class!
I found your videos about a week ago and have watched a ton of them. You do great work.
Now that's how you wake up you're neighborhood in the mornings. Beautiful machine awesome job.👍
Wish I could see this beast on the trails great work 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dude no at the dunes like glamas I Arizona
The best thing that has happened today.. this quad is sick! Glad to watch from the beginning to the end. You deserve every bit man! Keep up the amazing work
Easily one of the slickest quads Ive seen built. Great job ! Love the color scheme and the carbon is 🔥
This is a dream bike bro & such a pleasure to see you build 🙌🏾 congratulations 🙌🏾
Stickers were kinda extra at the end it killed the whole desert vibe in my opinion, but well done it turned out great
If that nic in the plastic where you slipped really bothers you, you can wet sand it out and buff it and it should be mint
unbelievable your work. and all the work after the camera is off is as impressive!! Lots of people have NO idea how much work there is when the camera is off. MS you rock.
The four-finger clutch pull bothered me for some reason 😂 Sick build as always, stoked to see this one wrapping up!
I always use 4 fingers, on ur woman
It bothered me too for some reason, when I ride I use 2 to shift just half clutching it
I use four fingers because I squish my fingers when I use two
God sees all!!! Go fuck urself

It was great meeting you out there. Thanks for letting me ride your banshee. Glad you enjoyed riding mine!

You saw, you built, you conquered! Hood 100🔥! Patriot 309 is so badass!
Beautiful machine. I watched the build from start to finish.
250R is definitely my favorite quad.wish I had of kept mine but didn't have the money to fix it and was in a rough spot at the time smdh.but this bike here is definitely one of the nicest ones I've seen.great job man.

The more a look at it, the more I love it, very unique build and definitely needs more attention 🤙🏻
That thing looks amazing. Fingers crossed for a future big bore utility quad.
This just felt wholesome. Like its nice to see somthing so american right now with all the stuff going on.

I'm so glad you trashed the stickers lol. I thought you were serious at first.
The graphics and hood tie the plastics and wheels together perfectly. Great job!
This is the sickest looking monster of a quad I have ever seen with my own eyes. That thing is beautiful like holy shht
That quad looks awesome Mike, you did an outstanding job on it, keep up the great work.
That looks really sharp. One of a kind. I was on the fence at first with the color. It looks awesome though! Great work!

How could anybody dislike this awesome build?
That is a beautiful bike great work man. Have fun this weekend. Already waiting on some sand vids.
This is probably my favorite 250r build ever
You can put some sort of rubber seal type stuff to bridge the gap on the hood will protect the plastic from later wear will also keep dirt out
