  • The Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet arrived in Thailand for his first official visit since taking the top job last summer. The relationship between the neighbouring countries has been historically difficult. And in recent years political dissidents in both countries have been detained and disappeared.

Despite the huge trying from siem thai lẹo to gaslighting, whitewashing history and degrading Khmer on over the internet about khmer culture influenced thai culture, I still hope Cambodia make a smart move to preserve their culture and move forward to the development in the future. From native Khmer in mekong delta vietnam.

The fact is Angkorian culture does influence the mainland South East Asian in the past, but the post-Angkorian culture didn't influence other emerging powers in the region anymore after the collapse of Khmer Empire Ayutthaya/Siamese evolve by its own and gradually reverse assimilate Cambodia for the past centuries. This is like Italy blame the rest of Europe that everyone steal their culture because once it was Roman Empire. Thus, Siamese culture are distinct from Angkorian culture. There are no similarities to the Siamese culture whatsoever.

Lol only in countries that aren’t true democracy that he can ask to eliminate any protesting. Can’t request that in the US, Canada, NZ or France etc.
