I found a Husqvarna 323l about a week ago and all that was wrong with it was it needed a new primer bulb..runs great..also threw away a leaf blower and an air Compressr..all worked..
well my old weed wacker broke but a month-and-a-half ago was finally able to go and buy a brand new one and this is the one that I picked the 128cd and man it is money well spent I used it once so far did a great job felt very sturdy I'm happy !!!
there really great when they run i had one last me 10 years with no problems i had 223l then some one stolen it from me if you maintain them properly i also had a echo and a shindiawa and roybi that out lasted any troy bilt or craftsman trimer iv ever owned nice find and fixs thats one of meany problems i had with my tanaka trimmer the hoses rotted and i had to clean the carb now she works like a charm
Threw it away? People can be so wasteful. I have one of these and found this video looking for tune up videos. Going to get it back into top condition this weekend. Best gas powered trimmer I've ever had.
+Al Carnley yup. You wouldn't believe what I have found in the trash. I've found countless Kirby and dyson vacuums, mowers and small engine equipment. Antiques and collectibles it's nuts what people through away.
To find out what size fuel line you need, measure the I.D. and the O.D. of the fitting with a tape-measure. Get one that reads 1/16th, 32nds, and 64ths. Use 12" hemostat pliers to replace filters and lines.
Reminds me of my free chainsaw. My brother gave me one that didn’t run for free. So I replaced the rotten fuel lines and started it. So I told him hey all it needed was fuel lines.😁
That's a nice Husqvarna, Great score! I do repair & sell 2 cycle stuff.. However if I can tell someone knows nothing about them, I write down what the fuel mix is & how to mix it...
Yeah for me honestly I don't hardly even find any weed trimmers like this one at all for some reason they're not nearly as popular here as lawnmowers and other things are. Typically what 2 stroke stuff I find is usually shot sadly.
50:1 full synthetic 2 cycle/ non-ethanol gas operates all my 2 cycle engines: Husq, Stihl, Poulan. Personally, I get mine at my local Sportscycle parts supply. I use the Honda 2 cycle because it's colored and I can, for sure, tell if my gas is mixed. My engines seem to really like it.
My 129C won’t start. It is less than a year old; purchased from Lowe’s, I’ve always used Husqvarna canned gas (no ethanol). Any ideas? It looks almost new and has had light use. Thanks!
Check behind the plastic plate that the carb bolts to. There's a rubber tube where the carb connects to the cylinder. Check and see if that is cracked or ripped. A buddy of mine gave me a practicality new husqvarna 223l trimmer that he could not get to run again after its 1st use. He said he tried everything with no luck so he just went and bought a new one. Well I brought it home, replaced the fuel lines, primer bulb and cleaned the carb and still wouldn't start....Was just out messing with it trying to figure out what the problem is and noticed that intake boot has a huge rip in it. Just ordered the part and can't wait to get it and fire that damn thing up
I bought the same machine from a flea market, after I brought it to a machanic it worked fine.Well I found out 'bout ethinol and a 100 more bucks. have a ? yesterday it cranked up just fine but it would'nt rev up to top rpm. What could I chek ??
I got the same one out of the trash, looks like new, but I can't get it to run to save my life. New carb, new fuel, new fuel lines, new spark plug, new air filter. It'll fire up and idle the same as yours, but normally dies when I hit the throttle and when it does get to full throttle it'll only stay there a few seconds then just die.
So there was nothing wrong with it but operator error and these are the same people who will gas a two stroke and swear husky is a pos and leave a crappy review etc 😂😂

When you find these, and if they're messed up ( no compression) you can still use them for spare parts
Did you had to adjust the two screws?

You’ll need to tune the carb more than likely. You can get the carb tuning tools on amazon
check spark arrestor
It sort of looks like it has the sthil trimmer design
Is the 128CD a fairly powerful weed eater. I just ordered one. Just curious on the power for trimming. Thank you
Pretty good comparable to the lower end stihl and echo trimmers
@@hanksgarage_ Thanks Man
Mines an enormous POS. That’s why previous owner tossed it
