You need to be more prepared for the Dutch weather 😊. You never know when it’s going to rain. When you’re walking or cycling, use a weather app or take a raincoat or umbrella with you. If you rented a car in the winter, make sure you have an ice scraper for your windows. Last weekend we had black ice for three days in a row and you couldn’t ride a bike or car. Some did and ended upside down in the gutter or rolling of the embankment in a ditch. A lot of people walking or cycling broke limbs on the slippery roads and sidewalks. Or worse, ended up freezing to death in a pond after a slip, really, it happened. I didn’t use the car or bicycle, I walked with snow-steps (with iron pins) under my shoes and didn’t have any trouble staying on track. Be prepared!
