These decks are what Yusei and the other Satellite citizens’ decks should have looked like. All that talk about getting their cards literally from the dumpsters and they miraculously have tuners and playable synchros. This is what you’d really have.

Also whilst we're at it both Gage and Joseph missed the opportunity to sacrifice their montage dragon since they didn't see the gate all the way to the right side of the screen instead of going to the scientist
Oh and Gage setting a spell/trap to his field with the Grave Robber ability should also mean he can't activate it on that same turn though you could argue that's the campaign maker's oversight to not have it say so
The funniest thing about Montage Dragon is that it has at least a small chance of being able to win against a full-on modern combo deck. Let's say your opponent ends on Baronne de Fleur, Borreload Savage Dragon, a 2400 ATK Apollousa, Naturia Exterio, Shooting Quasar Dragon, and Crimson Dragon (plus Ash Blossom in hand of course), and on your draw step they use Crimson Dragon to summon Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity. No problem! Just discard 3 level 12 monsters to summon a 10800 ATK Montage Dragon and attack over Apollousa for 8400 damage!

But in instances where a value is explicitly needed (damage calc, Legendary Maju Garzett, etc.) it will be treated as 0. Card text can overwrite rules, as we all know (except maybe we don't because some of you don't even know the difference between ATK and original ATK). A card can say its original ATK becomes a certain value, in which case, shockingly, its original attack will change. If a card doesn't explicitly say its original ATK changes, then its original ATK won't change. Crazy, right? Read Montage Dragon then read Supreme Sovereign Serpent of Golgonda and tell me if you think the way their ATK functions is the same. If you say you do, I will execute you on the spot.
based off great maju's ruling (which also says original attack) tributing montage dragon for legendary maju does give you the attack of the montage dragon on field..still couldnt summon obelisk tho
Did you forget a "not" in there? The only relevant ruling Great Maju has says the exact opposite of what you said. "When you use a monster with an original ATK of "?" then "Great Maju Garzett"'s ATK is zero." That is an old Upper Deck ruling, but it's still correct.
