Jurickson Profar & Victor Robles are great stories, but they are simply not comeback players. There is no coming back when you werent anything particular great to begin with

Albert Suarez was out of the league for 7 years and came back this year and been one of the best oriole pitchers
I would personally consider him more of a breakout player than a comeback player. This has been his first good season the league.

While Luis Severino was not an ace in 2022, he was actually pretty good but then got injured again and was lit up in the playoffs.
Come on, how can you not include Jurickson Profar. DFA’d from the Rockies and signed by the Padres for $1mil, he was an 2024 Allstar with a .134 OPS+, 24 HR’s, .839 OPS and 3.4 WAR! Biggest comeback player of them all!!!

@@GiraffeNeckMarc ya was so bad last year and this year he’s been mostly healthy and an actual threat in the Yankees lineup which they desperately needed.
what about Emmanuel Clase? 2021-2022 he was so lockdown, ERA just a touch over 1 those two years, last year ERA ballooned to over 3 and this year absolute cash with a 0.60 ERA and 0.65 WHIP
What I love that Vlad did was it at least to me seems like he is ignoring HRs he only has 30 which for someone who we thought would hit like 40 a season is low. But every other stat is insane. Insane BA and an insane amount of hits. He is not the same player as in 2021 but he is just as good now just in a different way easy 4th place finish in mvp in AL imo

I know it's a much smaller sample size, but this man was out of baseball last year,

Don’t if he qualifies as a comeback player, but Jurickson Profar coming back this year after leaving the Padres the first time after some solid seasons to the Rockies and being one of the worst players statistically in all of MLB to Profar coming back to SD and being one biggest contributors is a comeback for sure, but then again he’d never had as great of a season as this year

I think Jesse Winker deserved a mention, he had been good, was terrible, and really returned to form with the Nats this year. Wish he could have been in this one, even as an honorable mention.
