I have this headcanon is two things can happen when an Afflicted Gore Magala tries to molt before it can succumb to the Qurio infection:
-If the Gore Magala is strong enough, the Frenzy Virus in its system helps it overcome the Qurio infection, allowing it to become a Risen Shagaru Magala.
-If it's too weak, the molt fails, and it turns into an Afflicted Chaotic Gore Magala in the same manner it would if it had been infected with a Shagaru's super-Frenzy.
