Weezer has to be the most difficult endboss in any RPG. One phase 1, Rivers automatically opens up with his girl dissin' debuff. On phase 2, the band undoes everyone's sweaters, weakening defense. (In the original SNES release, Rivers would instead wrestle with Jimmy, increasing his offense, and shortly after it would be the phase when everyone's sweaters become undone. However, it was removed from later re-releases as the wrestle attack Rivers uses was too broken.) Phase 3 is just kinda a neutral moment as Rivers laments the fact of being unable to talk to girls, allowing the chosen four to deal damage, ultimately defeating Matt. However, in phase four Rivers calls on Mikey for backup and the band has some hash pipes, healing at least 999 HP of damage. Lastly on phase five, the band gets tired and considers going to an island in the sun with Ness and friends, ultimately ending the battle. The ultimate endurance test.
Actually, this comment is inaccurate to the lore. In phase 2, Rivers is clearly seen wrestling with Jimmy, giving some big defense buffs throughout the battle. Phase 3 is where he begins to unravel your sweater, and this new video can be assumed to contain phases 4, 5, and 6. Overall, an inaccurate comment that needs to catch up on the newer lore. A common mistake. (New information has arisen, and the newer remake has been slightly altered to fix some major balance issues)
Shame we never got the "Say it ain't so" optional encounter, I can understand the devs were pressed for time. Maybe the devs will flesh it out if they cameo in the sequel's rumored Beverley Hills level.
Weeyzas was a strange and scary boss, it was even weirder that the only way to defeat them was to have Paula keep singing "Africa" by Toto until the people back home started singing it too.
MAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNNN THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN I EXPECTED I MEAN HASH PIPE SOUNDS SO POGGERS????? SO COOL SO AMAZIN LIKE SAKTFAKJKG I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT AND ITS SUCH A BANGER AS AN EARTHBOUND SONG FRR also losing my mind over island in the sun. i know this may be just covers but this dude right here´s got my complete admiration
This is awesome! I think I'm too early to say that this is underrated, so I say that this better pop-off like phase 1 did! If not, the algorithm would be doing you a huge disservice for how good this is. Keep it up :)
Request: Are you able to do these songs in the GoldenEye N64 soundfont? I've always wanted to hear what a Weezer song would sound like in GoldenEye N64.

The opening to El Scorcho in this style really makes you think about how much this song sounds like Back To The Shack.
Weeyzas was a strange and scary boss, it was even weirder that the only way to defeat them was to have Paula keep singing "Africa" by Toto until the people back home started singing it too.
wrestle with jimmy
Great work king, can't wait to see you blow up. Also, really appreciate the inclusion of El Scorcho, that was the first Weezer song I listened to.
