Merry Christmas. I’m celebrating the solstice today. Thanks for the video. You have a wonderful and positive impact on my life. From the woods of the Mossey River season’s blessings to you and your family.
Good wee. Video and here put a few play lists on the Chanel to get them viewing numbers up. You’re a happy man and a hard working my man too between sowing growing and storing. Great work and inspirational. With all the storming we had roof tiles blown of and like u wee do them jobs ourselves. Projects well over the next few weeks I have a bedroom to paint and paint a load of furniture for it too. In the spring a lawn to sow our for our children to play on and this year a veg patch to get us going. And an other wood shed. Sounds like a lot but it’s all do able. The first video I seen of yours was a review of the 7 ton log splitter. I ended buying one from screwfix at 4t. A great buy. Looking forward to more videos. Happy Christmas to you and the family
Hello Marcus, these are the comments i enjoy reading, its nice to hear how others are getting on. If you work hard, life becomes easier to live ! The cost of living crisis has only just begun, things are going to get worse and for the self sufficient it will be a breeze to get through. Carbon net zero will also cripple people as the big wigs try to rush it in. A good 6 years of hard times for those who rely heavily on the system before it sorts its self out ! Keep up the hard work and you will be laughing at all this crap that's happening instead of panicking. Thanks for your comment, good luck and take good care. Happy new year. your on the right track !
Great to see you again Gary. Will be playing the video on constant run to help get you up to the required views. Hope all the family are well and have a brilliant Christmas 👍
Hello Gary, we found your video after we also bought a used Aga Rayburn, same type. We watch your videos with all your humorous insights in the Netherlands. And would love to see more Aga tips and tricks. Keep up the good work! Lovely dog by the way. Glad you are back! 😂
thanks so much. The good thing about Aga, rayburns is that all the spares are readily available, old or new, a very wise choice and they last forever ! good luck, take care
Well done, Gary, you've reminded me that I've got two 40-pint pressure barrels up in the loft. They're coming down for a brew up and I feel a drop of cider coming on. I prefer still cider too. Have a good Christmas matey, and happy solstice today. Edit: All cleaned and sterile now. I've ordered two kits from eBay -- one cider and one Pilsner, also some champagne yeast to throw in there too with some extra sugar. Nobody wants a pissy brew :) Edit 2: The cider kit is already here!! I've been down Tesco for sugar and some extra apple juice (because why not?) and I'll start it cooking tomorrow. Woohoo!
Hello, these type of comments are the best to read ! Happy brewing ! Happy new year ! Luckily i got 3 more 40 pint brew kits of different types for Christmas. Also if the shit ever hits the fan alcohol will be a great bartering tool ! ha ha, just ask them to return the bottles ! I would love to buy a distiller but i am resisting as i will totally sod me liver up ! Good luck and im sure its now very close now to drinking your brew ! take care
Watched 5 times today Gary will do another 5 tomorrow. I’ll know your script off by heart soon 😂😂. Love the war time feeling music when you are showing your home in black and white. Gives me a great feeling inside. Have a good evening. 👍
Merry Christmas Gary to all your family. Best wishes for 2025 and look forward to following your growing season. Love to Luna and you all from Plymouth.
Yule Greetings to you all X You can never have too many Leeks from the garden, good staple. Our Parsnips didn't do so well this year a bit smaller than usual on the ones we have dug up, but more to come. We love a Whistling Kettle too use them all the time X Enjoy the season and Take Care X
Happy new year, happy safe travels for 2025 ! just a year and a half to go and i will be getting my camper van with some of my pension lump sum and a weekly pension payment ! i love getting old ! ha ha, thanks and take good care
Great video as always, will be interested to see how the bio digester goes, I've never seen anyone put one in a greenhouse. You got Trent thinking about home brew 🤣 Lunar is gorgeous, look forward to seeing her adventures. Have a great Holiday, I finished work yesterday, took early retirement 2025 the start of our new life and so excited. Take care love to you all Deb & Trent❤
Hello, sorry for a late reply. so glad to hear life is going so well for you. Happy new year to you both. By putting it in the green house it should produce more gas than ever ! Many countries like India, Indonesia and Thailand use them, they are hotter there, hence the greenhouse. If you can grow hot climate plants in greenhouses here why not make gas like them countries as well !!! also i have plenty of manure and grass cuttings to power it ! Ive been doing a lot of research on this. Thanks so much, im so pleased your even more happy with life ! take good care, good luck.
Hi Gary. Great to see you again. Hope you are all ok. We really enjoyed this vid. Luna is very cute. Great ti have a tour round your place. We've missed a few of your recent postings but we will do a brief catch up. We are still keeping sheep and poultry up here in the south Pennines. Have a fab Christmas with you and yours, enjoy the lager. Best. Johnny and Jacob.
Merry Seasonals to you + Famlams! I was a bit late getting the ol' Treacle Ale on the go this year. Checked this morning, but still a way off. I tend to use a lidded bucket for the "dirty" bit of the fermentation. When it's ready, I siphon it off into a narrow necked "brightening" vessel for a week or so. I find this makes cleaning a lot easier (less chemicals, although need somewhere to hang up the tube). Will raise a glass to ya when the time comes. Peace x
Hello, happy new year. The barrel i use is very hard to clean ! i use a large bottle brush and plenty of hot soapy water, it is a real pain ! i need to look out for a bucket ! thanks so much and take good care.
So good to see you again, we do miss the videos. I agree about the entertainment and real life content of your channel. Hope you get re monitized again soon. Hope you all have a lovely Christmas and look forward to more videos :)

So sorry to hear about the 4000 hours thing. Maybe post anything every 2 or so weeks? I mean I'll definitely watch the old videos too for the watchtime, obviously. The biogas part was promising. Hoping to see more about that in another video. Take care. Happy Christmas to you and your family! :)
