Wow- What a great Video. Step to Step was concise and to the point. I could do this tomorrow and have a great passice income site. Thanks for taking the time.
Silly question: is there a way to "automate" the order process, so you don't have to approve every single one of them. If not, how long do you have to approve the order? Thanks, great video
That’s a good question, but there is not one that I have found. It’s best to ensure that everything is good with the order before pushing it through 👍🏼
I love your content because it's real and honest. However, I literally just saw your video from a year ago where you state that setting up a print on demand shop with Etsy was incredibly difficult and not to fall for the misleading TH-camrs that say it's easy. Why this video now?
@@MiriamHernandez-pd8cu because I opened a new Etsy shop and I’ve been doing it around 1 year and it’s profitable. In my Etsy print on demand series, I don’t say it’s easy and I never claim that you can make $800 a day by tomorrow. I show my OWN EXPERIENCES and HOW I AM DOING IT.

Hi Kimberly, I have an Etsy question.. I am planning to open an apparel store for Dog lovers wherein I will be putting designs for Top 19 Top dog breeds in U.S.A and the 20th section would be dedicated to other dog breeds.. Now my question is that Should I only put 1 product that is t-shirts on my store OR Should I rather have 2-3 products (t-shirts, mugs, blankets) under each dog breed section to give the customer more buying options and thereby also increase my Average Order Value? I would appreciate your response, thanks!
@@Om-gg5tk Hi! That sounds like a great store 🐾🐕 … I would do multiple products for each dog breed section. That will give more buying options and opportunity. This is just my personal opinion!
@@FinanciallyPowerful thanks a lot for your response,Kimberly! Some creators says don’t focus on niches like the dog niche that are saturated whereas some creators say focus on this big niches because it means they have demand and hence you can stand out in that niche with a unique designs as you will always have a steady stream of buyers.I would appreciate your thoughts on this, thanks!
I find this idea very interesting. Because I've always wanted to do something creative like print on demand where I can sell my own designs. But there is one problem I'm worried about. Let say you go viral and get 100 orders and sold each one at $20.00 each (which would be a total of $2000.) then price through Gelato $8.00 each which means you have to pay Gelato $800 to produce and then ship the 100 orders to your customers. You have to have the $800.00 to pay Gelato on hand before you get the $2000 through Etsy, correct?
Hi! Yes that is correct. I typically get paid from Etsy within 24-48 hours. That means you will get the money back with profits TYPICALLY within 24-48 hours.
@FinanciallyPowerful Thank you for the reply. That's not to bad. Also, I know it is unlikely for such a situation to happen. Especially, when you are first starting out.
@@Naas_creatives all print on demand platforms do this. That is because Etsy does not pay the print on demand platforms, and the product must be paid for before being produced. Etsy pays you within 24 hours of product being shipped.
Yes. Etsy does not pay the print on demand platform. When an order comes in, you are the owner. That means you have to pay for the production of the item. The payment comes in with profit from Etsy typically within 24-48 hours. If that would be a problem then I would not do this. ❤️
Hi kimber hope you are fine please try make some videos for Pakistani people how they can earn online beacuse we dont have too much payment method which is supported in pakistan ( payoneer , easy paisa , jazz cash ) love from pakistan you are doing great work .
Just another video that does not explain how to set up an Etsy shop. Why did you not explain the sign up process? Etsy asks a lot of questions that I don't know how to answer for a print-on-demand business. For example, there are questions like, if it's a physical product, who made it, myself or another company? Is it a finished product or a supply or tool to make things? When did you make it? Then it asks to add production partners. Do I need to put Gelato there? I need to find another TH-cam video that actually explains step-by-step how to create an Etsy print-on-demand store.
@@elena79rus If it is a physical product, and you are using a print on demand company, you did not make the product yourself. When are you creating the product? These are obviously finished products. Yes, add the production partner of your choosing. If you’re using Gelato, you put Gelato. In my opinion, these are self explanatory questions, that is why I did not go through each question step by step. I also find it vital that some of these things be able to be run by the person opening the shop. If those questions are difficult, it may be a bit difficult for you to run a print on demand shop. I say that with the best intentions in mind.
This was a good tutorial but I think people should know that they should not copy other people’s designs verbatim. It is a huge problem on Etsy and people’s hard work has been stolen. It’s also a quick way to get your shop shut down or not rank so it won’t sell. Use others of inspiration but don’t steal.
