    People who have never taken an elbow to the sternum/chest don't even know the effect. It's a piercing penetrating pain that lasts. My wife hit me in the chest (125lbs) setting up a stab (Piper) and I felt it for 2hrs....and that was a light hit! This is EXCELLENT!!!!

    If Wing Chun is simply for exersize and stretching, I'm not interested. if it does what it says, and is self defense for the smaller person, then I'm fully into it!

      You can train for a fight but no MA can prepare you for self defense. WC being the only close distance striking system has the techniques for self defense. The video showed what a stronger person would do ie grabbing the arms of a weaker person & the technique used to neutralize the grab is an option to a bong sau. The techniques in the system are like leggo pieces & it is up to the person to create something of it. Thus the saying WC is a scholars art & takes years of diligent practice. More you learn from the system the better you get & appreciate it for its health benefits into advanced age. Bear in mind, WC is a SHORT range INTERNAL striking system to generate explosive power (Fajin)!

    Good stuff. I love your channel. What you show is simple, fast, & effective. It would mix well with a grappling system such as BJJ or "catch", or "Nike-kwon do" / i.e. runaway). Keep up the great videos.

    The slap on hand demo had more windup. The actual demo didn't look like it would hurt the guy. Not trolling, genuinely curious, I have a lot of respect for this channel.

      @@MYVLMA But you do at least train full power on a heavy bag right? I do understand that you don't go full force on a training partner just like in light sparring sessions.

    second rule of martial arts: don't be grabbing anyone by the wrists.

    • @MustAfaalik
      @MustAfaalik 33 นาทีที่ผ่านมา

      Are there rules in MA? MA don't train you for self defense situation but the technique used to dislodge the grip is in the WC form many many times. Use your imagination & experience. Grabbing someone's wrist can flow to another technique. That's WC!🙏
