How to add an old map as an overlay to Google Earth

A quick tutorial on how you take an old map and overlay it onto Google Earth as a layer.
You can then easily see old features against the modern view and use Google Earth to navigate to points of interest using Longitude and Latitude points.

I'm not sure, if you do it on a laptop and save it in your Google account then maybe it will show up when you look on Android... give it a try
