I just wanted to say THANK YOU for doing these walking tours. They are a wealth of knowledge and without you and your videos, I wouldn't know half of what I know for fruit trees! THANK YOU!
Great video once again . Educational value here is off the charts thank you. I also love to here a Naples connection/reference between Julian and the Birds. I’ve purchased rare fruit like canistel etc. from them at a farmers market here in naples and they were awesome truly passionate fruit tree educators. I’ll be looking for the Wise mango now for sure. Thanks
Terrific video ! Love all the unique varieties he has ! 🤗👊 Spellings of some of these more unique ones would be helpful ! We struggle a bit more grrowing mango trees long term in the interior of the hot Metro Phoenix area. But we typically have less humidity & some less disease issues...
So many mango varieties out there. I have about a hundred mango trees of different variety as well. But out of them all, the one that stands out from the rest is the Manila or Carabao mango. Its the literal number 1 mango in guiness world record.
The Galleon trade went for 250 years. A large number of plants from Tropical Americas were tranplanted in the Philippines and visa versa in return. Carabao mango was succesfully transplanted in Mexico as Manila Mango , in Cuba as Mango Filipino.. Bananas and Jack fruit were were also wwwwwwwwwwwwwidely planted and utilized In return the Mexican trip filled the Philippine larder with numerous fruits and plants. Guava, anonas, atis, Zapote Zapodilla and many others.
Picked up a beautiful Oro Negro avocado and Emerald mango from Lara Farms and they arrived in fantastic condition, will definitely order more trees from him. I'd love to collect some different potted fruit trees for my patio if you got some suggestions, especially for annona and mamey! Thank you for the videos.
Thanks for the videos Paul!!! I heard Julian mention PSM for green mangos. Do you know how large this tree can get? Have a small space and would like this one
How do we purchases small trees from Paul ? I live in Southern California, & a 15 min drive from Malibu Beach. Mangoes grow easily in my area. I have many varietys.. grown from seeds, bearing fruit. 😊
I wish some of these knolegeble people you interview will speak more about what each type of mango prefers sun/shade , water/dry, colder or hotter temp etc…..
Thanks again Paul for having me on your channel and for letting me share with all your subscribers my enthusiasm for tropical fruit

Taste is so subjective. It's hard to have a record like that. But that's amazing
Awesome! Thank you!
Great video. Keep them coming!
Shalom 💖🙏🏻

We enjoy the stories/ history Julian tells of the different varieties and how they came into being.

It's not a dwarf tree, you can see the exact description including size and shape at Tropical Acres Farms website
@@FruitfulTrees Thanks Paul! I will check it out.
Can we get that part 2,3,4 on indian mangoes. Waiting for it🎉
The biggest mango I've ever seen and tasted was at the F&S park and it was a Ford mango.
I was at someone's house recently and they said they had it growing in their yard
@@FruitfulTrees there you have it, your next episode, "biggest mango varieties in SoFlo"
@fruitful tree if you can only grow one dwarf mango which would it be ?
depends but none are truly dwarf. Pickering is very productive and grows slow
Another great show
Do you guys have Bowen mango in the usa
not sure if he does but you can ask him
What's the pacing between trees? They seem pretty close
I think his were 20 feet apart
Rumani, banganapalli🤤
Hello may I buy a mango from the first dwarf julie mango tree you showed. I live in Las Vegas, :) thank you

It's Julian Lara at Lara Farms you want to order from, his site is www.larafarmsmiami.com
you need to get the Buxton Spice native of Guyana it is most delicious
Thanks for sharing! Question: are pickering mango trees always dwarf regardless of root stock?
they are slow growers but will get big over time, just slower. I don't think the root stock matters
@@FruitfulTrees thanks a lot!
do you have Langra mango tree that r from India or Bangladesh?
Alphonso?
Paul… you forgot the mics again!
relax I didn't forget I have a bunch of older videos I did without the mic that I still have to upload.
I wish some of these knolegeble people you interview will speak more about what each type of mango prefers sun/shade , water/dry,

What about your favorite mango Haden? 😂 I love seeing you cringe when you hear Haden.
lol
He'd never met a razor blade before
To be honest you probably never met underwear before because you never switched from diapers
