Installed and used on a mix. I don’t care for the head tracking but it worked well for me. Crazily I left the plugin on when mixing down the second time and it sounded really good. Counter intuitive I know. I lowered the ambience to the lowest setting and also put an eq on the master bus and dialled out some of the mids and bass.
@@TheAudioCzar if possible try to demo some of the expansion packs. I'm particularly fond of the spitfire rooms, so much better than the standard rooms. Cheers..
I got the first nx version for free after spending x amount in their store. I tried it and compared it to cla. I prefer cla for sure. The ambience setting on the original version is too over done. I set mine as little as 4 to still get a feel of a room but nothing too drastic. I'm curious to compare mixes done purely on headphones and another done with cla. How well would it translate to speakers in someone elses house, my car, my phone. So far my EQ choices with this plugin arent as drastic as they used to be.

did the mains have a lot of bass to you?
I've bought the Ocean Way when it came out and I like it, a lot. Based on your review, I think I'll stick with what I have. Thanks!
Thanks for the vid Czar. I tried this as well. I use sienna with the volume A pack from Acustica. It's definitely usable. You should try it.. :-)
